If I only had £1 for everytime I said that....

Mind you, TPH is as crap as giving up stuff as me, so my guess he will be on the hooly again this weekend...

Bizarrely, I was drinking Hooligan in the S & R.

Were you there observing?

How did I fail to meet you?

Haha!

do you play poker when pished? A lot of pros make money playing against pished players. If you play for fun it doesn't matter. Not so many Americans on Party so the standards tougher. More rocks fewer fish. :P

I only play on small stakes tables so its not the end of the world if I lose, only at the weekend will I sometimes play it when im pissed.

I only play on the small stakes as well. My problem is that I'm beating other players but not the rake which has had more off me than other players. When at my brothers he worked out that it costs me around 40c Per HR to play. I've had bonuses and rake back deal which helps but to look at my figures it does not look good. Been playing online just over a year. Played 40,000 hands. At some point it will sink in what my brother keeps telling me. 'On the flop is it reasonabally likely I am ahead? If the answer is yes bet/raise If the answer is no how many outs do I have? How much is in the pot? Do I have the odds to call? If no then fold. A simple way to win at poker. :D

Not poker... stupid me got blind one night and spent 80 smackers on the roulette table.

When I realised I had an 80 smacker hole in my wallet and nothing to show for it, is when I decided gambling wasn't for me :D

Roulette is gambling. Poker is more a game of skill. You are playing against other players not the house and you can use the odds to your advantage.

I'm never drinking again.

Also, I've just uploaded an exclusive series of photos of me enjoying a cup of tea at work, on Facebook.

So those who use it and have me on there, ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-check it out.

Oh I saw.

Exceptional work

Me and my housemate got a big popped up and decided to play $5 $10 blinds poker online at about 3 in the morning

We got $600 up at one point

Finished about $100

It's all about drunken ultra-aggression on the poker table

No I dont. It is knowing when to bet/raise call and fold. You have 22 UTG. First to act 9 players to follow. What chance do you think that 22 will win? Will all 9 players fold? Or will one of them have a better pair or two top cards AK AQ? There are players that raise on the flop with 22 with AKQ showing after somebody has raised preflop. Over a period of time they will lose. They need 22/1 to get another 2 on the turn or river then still could be beaten by bigger trips or a straight. An obvious example but there are many decisions which are not so easy but still work the same way.

Luck may have the upper hand over a short period but eventually it evens out and the more skillfull players will come out on top. Agression is fine until you come up against a passive player who will call anything then suddenly bet and raise. Time to slow down.

Haha, nice.

A few mates and I got blind and decided to do strip poker. There was one female there which negated any implied homosexuality

It would do if the female in question wasn't the best player. :P

I was on Party last night and a player with the name Bluefox82 was at the table. A fellow City fan? I didn't get the chance to see where he was from. He left not long after I joined the table. Btw I'm kendud on there.

Just checked him out on a a facility that I have Pokertracker. He's not played many hands according to that.

For those that wish to know Poker Tracker is a program that keeps a record of the hands you played. It tells you how tight or loose you are, how aggressive you are and what percent you are putting in the pot. Also it can show you at the table what other players are like. This helps to decide whether a player acting after you is likely to fold/raise/call. I suggest you don't use this if at my table. :P

Love these programmes - Good job I ain't like that when I am drunk....

Actually she had her chebs out pretty early.

Man they were good, wholesome chebs.

*reminisces*

and your play deteriorated thereafter?

As for booze Britain I saw the one earlier in the week when they were giving awards out.

Thought it a little biased. There are drinkers who do not just go out to get pissed up on alco-pops or lager

There are a lot of people wearing sweaters and beards that drink sensibily. :P

Wahey!!! Has anyone ever got itchy feet so went down to the local and got plastered by themselves, only to walk for an hour, bump into a mate and finish off the night eating greasy takeaway before contemplating passing out on the sofa?
