DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 18 December 2006 Posted 18 December 2006 What a bloody awesome night this was... we were 4-0 up against New Zealand and had secured the premiership with 4 games remaining, then our usual 'north end / south end over here' chant was blown away when the family stands joined in as well (especially the west stand, they're a bit fancy over there!). Soon the whole ground was joining in this chant The whistle blows and MVFC have secured the premiership: I can't believe how football has taken off in Melbourne this past season! Our last match against Sydney we pulled a crowd of 50,333!!
hairy Posted 18 December 2006 Posted 18 December 2006 Good to hear of the growing support for the game over there. Probably something to do with The Roos performance in the world cup. But we dont want you getting too good as its probably the only sport left where we are expected to still beat you <_<
Finnegan Posted 18 December 2006 Posted 18 December 2006 Yooooour suppooooooootr iiis fuuuuucking shit! Your support is, your support is...
Joe. Posted 18 December 2006 Posted 18 December 2006 It's good that football is spreading in Australia. Maybe there should be and England vs Australia Ashes style competition now then? That's somethign we can beat the Aussies at surely?
