gilesyboy Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 Correct me if i'm wrong but it was heading towards then end of the game (about 70 - 75 maybe even 80 minutes - Fair enough not 2 -3 mins but towards the end of the game) and we were winning by 2 goals! As I said correct me if i'm wrong... It's just a general rant, nothing too specific, it's just that this thread has hit on a particular pet hate of mine! Still, I even if I absolutely LOVED them and thought that they were the very best thing in the entire world I wouldn't feel comfortable celebrating a 2 goal cushion for Leicester anything more than 2-3 mins out - even then I'd be wary, Middlesborough away ring any bells?
fosterfox Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 dont know how to do that quote thing so i wont try but skitzo, dotn just assume what era of fans i belong to or further that; judge me on it. i dont know if you were a perenial orange seater at filber street but where i was sitting it wasnt much of a family atmosphere.
Jimmy Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 i dint say it was a family atmosphere i said we are a a family club as we are generally owned by groups of different families and always have been, be have NEVER been a "big" club as you seemed to be implying
London_Fox Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 What if Mexican Waves are childish? Brilliant...if all some of the little kids that came on Saturday remember is the Mexican wave and that makes them want to come back a few times then that's a good thing for us in the long run. We're dealing with a new generation of kids, not like the older posters on this forum who remember getting crushed in the terraces and loving it so much, let's do what we can to encourage them! Anyway it's a laugh, get's (almost) everyone involved and creates some kind of atmosphere on otherwise dead match days!
