Joe. Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 Home for crimbo from uni Am extremely bored, have got myself a job but i am missin all my friends sooooo much, home really is pap!!! wish crimbo would hurry up and finish, i really aint feelin the festivities this yr <_< Neither am I really yet and I don't think many people are to be honest. I'm sure it will feel more like Christmas when it actually is tomorrow. School holidays are so boring but I guess it's better than actually being there... <_<

MC Prussian Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 Christmas has always been kinda a "forced event" to me in the last couple of years, actually. Plus, I was never really in the mood for celebrations. This time, however, I've discovered that it works best if you treat crimbo just like any other days during the year. Enjoy the day, but don't make a big fuss about it. Behave the way you feel like.
Rincewind Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 I've still got some Belgium beers and some I got 3 packs for a tenner and only had two people to get them for so had to have the third for meself. I am one of those working Xmas day 6-6. Just sorted a load of snacks out plated Xmas dinner up for tomorrow night and accidently dropped a bottle of beer into my work bag. Taking some Xmas presents as well. Got The Hogfather to watch on DVD recorded from earlier in the week and also Night of the Living Dead 1 and 2 recorded from Sci Fi on Thursday so with no interuptins from family or kids I should be OK. 4 AM rise in the morning so an early night. And maybe a beer and few hands of poker. Forgot about the lemon cream gateu tonight and the chocolate one tomorrow. mmmmm
MC Prussian Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 Beer Holly chuck, beer. Beer in a hot tub.

lcfc_jme Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 its not feeling like christmas at all:( no carol signers the weather makes it feel like october and nobody seems jolly You're not watching Eastenders are you?? Seriously, everyone I have come across in the past couple of days has been very merry It has rubbed off on me as well - I'm well ready for Christmas spare a thought for Les Reed though, who has been laid off from his job as Charlton manager a day before Christmas... haha!!
Bluefoxtim Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 Today feels like any other day... Normally there is a huge build up with your adverts, carols etc. All that's happening is some people are spoiling christmas with their beliefs, winterval anyone? And all i can see on tv is adverts for bloody dvd games and half price sofas. Do people ACTUALLY go and buy furniture on boxing day? Jesus christ
City Fan Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 Can't be arsed with it this year, we haven't even got the tree up yet. Bah humbug.......
