Nationwider Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 The ultimate Xmas showdown.... None of your Mars Celebrations or Cabbrys Heroes malarky. They is for sissies. Just a straight fight to the death for the Daddies of Crimbo chocolate tinnage. You decide!
Flynny Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 Pfft, Celebrations clearly beat all the others. However, from those two, Green triangles win the day for Quality Street.
Nationwider Posted 29 December 2006 Author Posted 29 December 2006 I'm so common. Damn that Woolworths.
Nationwider Posted 29 December 2006 Author Posted 29 December 2006 Pfft, Celebrations clearly beat all the others. However, from those two, Green triangles win the day for Quality Street. It's an old skool poll, hence the decision to ignore upstarts like Celebrellys and 'Eroes. The green triangle is a classic. But I see your green triangle and raise you a Roses Hazelnut Whirl.
Alexikokopops Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 I used to be a Roses man, but it's Quality Streets all the way. They're quality.
potter3 Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 Quality Street, but the Hazelnut in Caramel (purple wrapper) in Roses is pure genius
lcfc_jme Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 Neither. What you mean to say is that you cannae reach into the tin and pull one out, so you have no idea what they taste like, and so have no preference?
lildave3 Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 What you mean to say is that you cannae reach into the tin and pull one out, so you have no idea what they taste like, and so have no preference? Or...that i don't like either We can't all be 'Gangsta'
Scow Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 Roses without a doubt. Quality Street has a rather offputting aroma, coupled with it being the poor man's version of Roses.
lcfc_jme Posted 29 December 2006 Posted 29 December 2006 Or...that i don't like either We can't all be 'Gangsta' Hmmm for such a short lad you've got some cheek on you I accept then that you don't like any of 'em because you haven't tried any Bloody fussy kid! You a celebrations manboy then?!
lildave3 Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 Hmmm for such a short lad you've got some cheek on you I accept then that you don't like any of 'em because you haven't tried any Bloody fussy kid! You a celebrations manboy then?! If i had to choose one, it would be Miniature Heroes (cue a JME short joke ) But i'm more of a Crisp man myself (or Lindt chocolate)
lcfc_jme Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 If i had to choose one, it would be Miniature Heroes (cue a JME short joke ) But i'm more of a Crisp man myself (or Lindt chocolate) No short jokes to be made about that, which may suprise you quite a bit .. Don't mind a few Miniature Heroes now and again myself. But then again, most chocolate is good
lookwhaticando Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 I wouldn't say no to Roses. Or qualiteh street for that matter.
