We would be scraping the barrel big time by bring him back IMO.

He has made a career of looking unplayable in one or two games a season but he unfortunately falls into the category of "CANT BE BOTHERED" along with so many players who flatter to decieve. BTW the fact that Levein hasnt shown any interest is a decent sign on the players ability, as is the transfer fees he usually commands!

Maybe because we need a target man who can flick balls on, and O'grady doesn't get enough chances. Hume and Fryatt are too like each other, they both chase the ball which means there isn't someone to hold the ball up and lay the other one off, they're both goal greedy

Really? Fryatt isn't coming across that way to me, can't remember him hammering in masses of goals this term Humes goals seem to have dried up as well at the minute

I think we should get de vries back. I think he could be the talisman for leicester's progress for now. Maybe play a terry venables christmas pudding with him in it. and maybe cadamarteri as the sixpence.

I'm quite surprised at the amount of support MDV has but I suppose I'd rather have him in the squad then not but then again he isn't exactly setting the eredivision alight!

I still think he's a 10-12 a season man but is that good enough for the wages we are paying him?

To be fair though, I can see what everyone is saying but surely right now we need anything upfront? Seems like no-one else can hack it and MDV is one of the only options until the Mandaric deal comes around. Dodds sure but he's no proven goalscorer, MDV may not be the most gifted player but he did put a few goals in here and there for us.
