lcfc_jme Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 I'd say he was a bad ref who got most of the decisions wrong and hates LCFC. He didn't get major decisions wrong. I'm just glad he didn't try to award them a dubious penalty!!

Think a lot of people still had the Villa game on their minds and I think this showed when at the first hint of a slightly dodgy decision, the Kop started singing 'you're not fit to referee'. I thought a lot of the dodgy decisions were down to the lino at the North/East end more than Clattenburg.

I remember Rosetti (liked a lot for some goddamn reason by UEFA) ruled two goals as non-existent, the ball being three big feet past the line and entangled in the net. Funny thing he didnt even say offside, just the goal didnt count. Media manipulation hid everything carefully.
act smiley Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 The AR on the South-west was a bit too cautious, although when he didn't give something in there Fulham's way the ref did, while the one on the north-east invented things that didn't exist and was far too eager to wave his flag about. The ref got the major things right, but gave a few freekicks to fulham for backing-in which should have been freekicks to us for them climbing all over us. Wouldn't rate him as a particularly poor ref usually, he's okay, but he definitely had a poor game. Seemed fair, although hampered by shite linesmen, until about 20 minutes in, when he suddenly decided to be biased towards Fulham.

Hullfox Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 I said at 35 minutes that he was the best ref I'd seen all season. He was letting the game flow as well as I'd seen for a long time. At 45 minutes I apologised to everyone around me for my earlier comments.
