barmy76uk Posted 12 January 2007 Share Posted 12 January 2007 Best loan players are Izzett Bent (amazing player would love to see him in a city shirt again) Campbell and also Paul Moran the Spurs winger we had at the same time was decent! Stuart Taylor was better than Walker that season! worst Galloway from celtic, unlucky though with car crash Charlie Miller Ryan Smith (mr attitude) Andy Welsh (useless) Others Harper from pompey was ok could cross! Hooper let a few in Stefan Moore not much good Gary Charles shame he came from the trees!
DB11 Posted 12 January 2007 Share Posted 12 January 2007 You can't be much older than 10 if Ryan Smith is the best I am 14 days off of my 14th birthday
Simon Posted 12 January 2007 Share Posted 12 January 2007 In recent seasons I'd probably say Marcus Bent- certainly this millenium anyway!
Steven Posted 12 January 2007 Share Posted 12 January 2007 Muzzy Izzet and Marcus Bent were pretty decent. That's the truth.
who-izzet Posted 12 January 2007 Share Posted 12 January 2007 Muzzy Izzet was the best loan signing I have seen. I honestly believe that if Mandaric becomes chairman we will sign at least 3 experienced players (that can't get first team football in the premier league) on loan. DB11 Posted 13 January 2007 Share Posted 13 January 2007 If you've supported Leicester since 2002 surely you would agree that Marcus Bent was the best loanee since then, and definately better than Ryan Smith. Yes, I would definitely have to agree that Marcus Bent was the best signing I didn't know he was a loanee, I thought he was just on one of those "relegation release" clauses in a contract, and that is why he left. I'll always remember his late goal against Everton that made it 1-
Hullfox Posted 13 January 2007 Share Posted 13 January 2007 Personally I can't see why we ever get loan signings in. After all, what must the players in the academy think when they're constantly overlooked. No wonder they're frustrated. What more do they have to do FFS? Somebody even scored a hat trick recently against Ravenhurst Junior School and never got in the match day squad on Saturday. It's all wrong I tell you.
