Bert Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Ding has beat Stephen Hendry to reach the final. O'Sullivan and Maguire currently at 3-3 now. Whoever progresses, it will be a brilliant final. I'll say that Ding will win it, he looks in good form.

He is too much of a liberty and is really lucky to be allowed to play in a major tournament again after the UK championship fiasco. I think Shaun Murphy makes a good point here

lildave3 Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Was very impressed with Ding in the earlier rounds, especially his 147 break. I think it would be good for him to win it
Leicfox Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 Ronnie goes in 5-3, although it should be 6-2 in hindsight. Its been a good match so far... so untill tonight.
RowlattsFox Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 ding has to qualify for world championships. if he wins this does he still need to qualify or will he get some kind of wildcard.
Leicfox Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 Wildcard i think, although its not sure he'll play anyway i heard as theres a prestigous event in Chiina around the same time.
Head Honcho Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 I have a fiver on O'Sullivan to beat Ding Jungui 10-6 at 6/1
Bert Posted 21 January 2007 Author Posted 21 January 2007 Wildcard i think, although its not sure he'll play anyway i heard as theres a prestigous event in Chiina around the same time. Ding will be playing qualifiers for the world champs. Without doubt.
Leicfox Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 I hope he does, albeit he's duller than the shade grey.
Bert Posted 21 January 2007 Author Posted 21 January 2007 I hope he does, albeit he's duller than the shade grey. It aint his fault he cannae speak much English.
Milky Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 Ding started crying, i really thought he was stronger than that. The crowd really got to him.
Geo V Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Hilarious to see snookers original nutcase trying to CONVINCE Ding that alls OK and that he shouldnt lose it. Thats a case of the pot calling the kettle black if ever. On the snooker table O`Sullivan was awesome and is without doubt the best player ever to play the game. He just has too many demons in his head through having such fudged up parents but I suppose thats not his fault.

Ric Flair Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 O'Sullivan is an absolute genius, possibly the most natural English sportsman of the modern era, if Snooker can be called a sport. Some critics, think it shouldn't be because you don't run round like a twat, sweating your bollocks off.
