surrifox Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 30-2 chasing 210 . Usual story by the looks of it - reasonable performance in the field followed by completely spastic batting
Shum Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 JOKE again!!! Sort it out for gods sake! I have never seen such a timid top order in ODI cricket!
Geo V Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 It really is hard to watch this shite. We have them reeling with the ball (at least we are looking better there) but we let them off the hook and then start pissing around trying to get singles during power plays. What a bunch of pu$$ys
Manwell Pablo Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 Now that was shit. Shame. Do you believe that we're shit now.
Milky Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 Do you believe that we're shit now. almost, i'll just add an extra very. very very poor.
Dr The Singh Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 almost, i'll just add an extra very. very very poor. World Cup chances aren't looking good, heads must fall!!!!!
lcfc_jme Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 World Cup chances aren't looking good, heads must fall!!!!! According to the India captain, we have a good chance at the World Cup! I agree with everyone else though. We were awful again today with the bat. Our fielding and bowling was a lot better on the whole but again the batsmen let people down. Work needs to be done, and very quickly, if we're to do anything useful in the World Cup.

Flynny Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 Drop Bell. And Joyce. Don't give a crap about what he did today he's still too slow. Colly stays for marginally better batting than Bell and providing a bowling option. A proper ODI order (with strong batters and everything!) for us should look like this: Loye Vaughan Pietersen Bopara Collingwood Flintoff Dalrymple Nixon Broad Lewis Anderson Panesar can go in there for Broad, Lewis or Anderson if appropriate, depending on the pitch. Wicketkeeper needs re-examining but I'd leave Nixon in there until after the World Cup and have a look again in the summer.
lcfc_jme Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 I think he ought to concentrate on his team and let us concentrate on ours!!! That'd be a good idea as India are a hit and miss 1 day team (some good performances followed by really dodgy ones!!).. Though I was just pointing out that someone feels we can still do a job
