Scow Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 Let's see if he refers to himself in the third person.
Cobbo Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 Shot of tequila every time he does people... Come on Micky you big chinned tosser.
Louise Posted 14 January 2005 Posted 14 January 2005 Nice to hear Micky talking about the importance of youth and building for the future
SilverFox Posted 14 January 2005 Posted 14 January 2005 Still a good bloke though. I hope he gets a job soon and I wish him success...well, not as much success as us...but success One Micky Adams
Chandler Posted 14 January 2005 Posted 14 January 2005 You've changed your tune Silver Fox. No doubt this is because the Holy Land of promotion that was guaranteed 'if we brought someone new in' looks like a bit of a mirage now. No worries: we'll just wait until Mr Levein starts to pepper our 'crap' squad (er formerly bookies favourites for the title) with Highland League rejects. So that will be us doing the Moses shuffle in the desert for the next forty years. Hound out in haste - repent at leisure...

I got 8-1 at the start of the season when west ham were 4-1, and Chandler, I'd rather be an optimist and be wrong than be a pessimist and be right. Let me just ask you one question. If you met Levien face to face would you tell him what you say on this board? and if you did, what do you think he would say to you?
Jonesy_rules Posted 14 January 2005 Posted 14 January 2005 i think he could say something along the lines off... "well i'm the manager..it's my choice" or "feck off"
Matt Posted 14 January 2005 Posted 14 January 2005 (Copy and paste from the other thread) Vertually everyone here loved him in his first season and a half...Some people have forgot that! And i'm not saying everyone because I got 'told off' for saying that before but VERTUALLY everyone loved him! -Thats a lesson for Craig Levein as well, everyone said "Oh the new MON" when he first arrived and some people are still saying that...Now where did I hear that before?!?! Maybe he will be the new MON, and hopefully he will be but lets just see what he does first, Levein hasn't disappoint but tell me what he done? Not to much yet, so why call him 'the new MON' when he hasn;t done anything yet?!

I have always liked Micky and I challenge you to find anywhere in your epic 'tits up series any reference to me slating the guy. All I maintained was that you are a... erm never mind! I just choose to support our current manager and team, whilst at the same time I harbour no ill feeling towards Micky. I like to live in a little place I call the present. Also the saying is MARRY in haste - repent at leisure. But I guess hounding can work too, only I go to support not to boo or hound. A positive something is always better than going down to boo the team. What point would there be in being a supporter if booing and jeering your own team was the best you could muster. Waste of time if you ask me. How are you anyway Channy, you sound less miserable, whats wrong?

Funny, but two searches under Google ('Leicester City Favourites') reveal the ic newcastle (page 2 - report on the Sunderland game) and newsbbcwww sites (page 3 - report on our Hearts acquisitions) both quote LCFC as 'pre-season automatic promotion FAVOURITES.' And if you met Adams face to face would you tell him what you say on this board? and if you did, what do you think he would say to you? PS If you really want to know about whether I like physical confrontation you can check out the other board and ask yourself why I can't post there anymore.

Yes i got 8-1 at the start of the season with Ladbrokes. Westham were 4-1 Favourites, why would i lie? 2. When have i ever said anything bad about Adams on this board? 3. When have i ever shown an interest in you liking physical confrontation?

Check it out , for those of you who don't know what I allude to, its talkingballs. Anyway, you didn't answer my question Channy, how are you? You seem more mild mannered.
Chandler Posted 14 January 2005 Posted 14 January 2005 I'm intrigued by the talking balls thread Silver and thank you for that. I therefore recommend a (temporary) cessation of hostilities between our vast empires. Please send my warmest regards to that yellow dog, Webbo-bastard neck-Jeff-w*nker and tell him how much I appreciated his low cunning in blocking access to his infinitely inferior forum from my server ( a problem as profound to a technophobe like me as dark matter is to a cosmologist). Yes, Silver Fox, I am more mild mannered now. I have just received a 'yellow card' therefore I don't have much choice. By the looks of things so have a number of others. I notice the volume and quality of personal abuse has really gone down - so a lot of the fun has gone out of posting here. PS apologies for calling you an 'ambulance chasing shit to be.' I meant to call you an 'ambulance chasing twat in waiting.' Sorry about that.

Of course you can't have one without the other. Ohh I've missed you

And that does not include your double life on 'talkingtesticles' . You might be suffering from 'multiple forum disorder.' I suggest a visit to a shrink. Under hypnosis you may reveal other board existences. Just make sure you tell him/her to allow you to forget these revelations when you come round. Confronting past support for Micky Adams can be hazardous for FB's.
Knightonian Posted 15 January 2005 Posted 15 January 2005 Chandler. All of us here are Leicester City fans. Why can't you accept that a club moves on, gets another manager. Maybe I'm fickle, and a bonehead (apparently), but my word what is wrong with supporting your club though thick and thin. Adams has gone, support CL, please. If we're all so boneheaded then why bother post on here, we're obviously too stupid and boneheaded to understand your posts. Leicester is our club, and I'm Leicester till I die, do the same man please, or don't bother talking about us at all. .
Chandler Posted 15 January 2005 Posted 15 January 2005 I'm on here to remind you of your mistake (I assume you were on the anti Adams bandwagon). You'll think twice about hounding out a half decent manager that brings success to us in the future. In the meantime you can reflect on the fact that you and the rest of your crew and not Adams or his 'crap' signings are probably the main reason for our current predicament. Youv'e made my footie life a mare - so I'll make sure yours is too. Life's a real bitch innit chavs?
Knightonian Posted 15 January 2005 Posted 15 January 2005 I'm sure life is a real bitch for chavs. (Hopefully). I don't know why you assume I'm part of the 'Adams Out Crew'. I have a great deal of respect for Micky. However, there's no point in flogging a dead horse, look to the future. Micky's not here any more, CL is. He hasn't done anything in my opinion (of course) that justifies complete criticism, so I'll support him. Chandler I don't understand why your attacking me, I've only made a couple of posts on this forum. However, the only way you could possibly make my 'footie life a mare' is if you moved man (fecking) united into the Walkers. Meanwhile the rest of my 'crew' will apparently smash phone boxes ect, because thats what we do. Although I think you were the person who said he got kicked off a forum for getting 'physical' with other posters. For it's Leicester City, Leicster City FC........
