davieG Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 I would agree with that, hes never gonna be an izzet or a lennon but i think hes starting to look better the more he plays! Sounds like him and Jarrett might be a good partnership?? I don't think people are judging them on their looks though!
Rocky Dennis Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 Almost forgot about Peter Canero, How shit was he??
dekus41 Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 Anyone remember Kevin Macdonald ? Couldn't believe it when Liverpool payed 400K for him ( a nice sum at the time) For the few games they played together Jari Rantenen and Mike Newell were a pretty good partenership, seem to remember they won two games on the trot 4-0 before Pleat I think it was sold Wilson to Everton.
Geo V Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 I dunno if anyone else agrees but I always thought David Oldfield was crap! Shocking! He was limited but at times showed good skills and got a few goals for us. There were much worse players playing for us about that time!
Who ate all the pies? Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Limited...headless chicken more like. There were other crap players, but I couldn't stand him!
BartonFox Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 I dunno if anyone else agrees but I always thought David Oldfield was crap! Bollocks, David Oldfield was an excellent player up to his very bad knee injury, sadly after that he never regained those performance levels and he got hounded for it. Most of you would love a David 'stepover' Oldfield in this current shower of muck.

Filbert_Ross Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 when leicester were defending the kop end, where my season ticket is id have a perfect view of how crap Alan Rogers was, he'd back off the attacking player almost to the point he was sitting next to me in the crowd, I hated him so much that my mum bought me a framed photo of him for xmas. I kept it on top of my TV and got wound up every time I seen that twats face, then my girlfriend said it was a nice frame and put a picture of herself in it for me to look at instead.
Jack Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Junior Lewis is by the far the worst player i have seen in a leicester shirt.
London_Fox Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Junior Lewis was a special one. Ade was the least natural footballer ever. But maybe due to my short term memory it has to be AJ, he is useless and it's made worse by the fact that managers don't seem to see it. Dreadful distribution and shoddy tackling too. Makes me so angry to see him in the central midfield for us.
josh_baskin Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 I think any player brought in to the club through the Peter Taylor era was a complete waste of space on the field, Adi akin bad buy, Trevor Benjamin, Denis wise etc etc.
reynard Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 tommy english jari rantanan tony spearing junior lewis lee marshall eddie kelly and many many more too numerous to recall
hebangsthedrums Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 I thought David Oldfield was poor mainly due to his inconsistency. He was the ultimate confidence player -I remember the fox had a cartoon that summed him up - it showed oldfield with confidence as superman, and oldfield without as a ballerina which was pretty much the case. He was certainly not bad enough to qualify for a worst players list though

placidcasual Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Bobby Davidson was dreadful for us as well. Mark Grew. Mark Bright. Had the cheek to blame "racist" fans for his inability to hit a cows arse with a banjo.
Sparky Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 lee marshall , junior lewis , matt heath , paul fitzpatrick , brian carey , john curtis , michael trotter , nicky platener , rob johnson
