Head Honcho Posted 9 February 2007 Posted 9 February 2007 I'm sorry I cant believe anyone who had seen the two play more than a couple of games apiece could say that, akinbiyi was beyond shite. Plus Arnie was the penalty king Penalty king He scored 4 goals in 40 games in three and a half years he was fooking useless, he flattered to deceive! Wasting many chances by shooting everytime he got hold of the ball in the oppostions half. He was by the way a club record signing at the time-unbelievable
The People's Hero Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 Elvis Hammond. Complete garbage. Utter tw at.
Lichfieldfox. Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 The worst I've seen are Alan Rogers, John Curtis,Scott Gemmill and Josh Low. Admittedly only had a ST for 3 years as working away for my formative years. I've based this on lack of ability and effort hence some of the current superstars don't get a mention. I do worry that some of our loan signings will be similarly poor
Zingari Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 where can i find a comprehensive list of former players etc to jog my memory, i'm trying to think up my all time worst team of players and i'm sure there are alot worse than the ones i've thought of .........i'm pretty sure this lot will be guaranteed a place though kevin pressman joe jopling gregor stevens lammy robertson malcolm partridge roger davis

Zingari Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 Surely anyone else would have to go in a Worst Players You Can't Remember thread? good point but i will remember them if i see the names again
gosfox Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 That 9foot 3inch Goalkeeper......cant quite remember his name Zelco Crapczek or some thing, how he ever got to the status of a profesional footballer god only knows........ and then we signed him
MC Prussian Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 That 9foot 3inch Goalkeeper......cant quite remember his name Zelco Crapczek or some thing, how he ever got to the status of a profesional footballer god only knows........ and then we signed him Zeljko "The Spider" Kalac. His unforgettable performance in the playoffs will always stick out. Legend.
lookwhaticando Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 Half the Taylor squad gets my vote. Akinbiyi, Marshall, etc etc. Special mention to a few of the weekend warriors in the Adams squad such as Makin and Gemmill who were pretty cack.
hoooom Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 Kalac is currently at AC Milan, has made champions league appearances this season, played in the 2006 world cup and has been playing regularly in the league after Dida tore ligaments in his leg. Always remember his 20 second appearance in the 1996 Play-off final. Legend!
Webbo Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 where can i find a comprehensive list of former players etc to jog my memory, i'm trying to think up my all time worst team of players and i'm sure there are alot worse than the ones i've thought of .........i'm pretty sure this lot will be guaranteed a place though kevin pressman joe jopling gregor stevens lammy robertson malcolm partridge roger davis good call, that fat b@stard must have cost us 10 points that season.
syston_fox Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 played in the 2006 world cup Also made a huge cock up if i remember right and was subsequentley dropped again Patrick Kisnorbo - the midfielder, was one of the worst but all is forgiven now!
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 You lot obviously can't remember that excellent centre-back partnership of Terry Fenwick and Lawrie Madden in the early 90s.... hmmmm
hoooom Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 Also made a huge cock up if i remember right and was subsequentley dropped again Patrick Kisnorbo - the midfielder, was one of the worst but all is forgiven now! Yeah, I know but he wasnt the worst city player of all time!! He must be one of the only Ex-City players to go on to represent AC Milan in the Champions League!
Brenfox Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 I think some of you are getting carried away. Surely you remember Mark Venus the p*nis. Rob Johnson,Ricky Hill & Mick Kennedy.
Who ate all the pies? Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 Bloody hell what about that dream Prem partnership of Jimmy Willis and Brian Carey...together they weren't as bad as I thought they would have been but individually they were god awful.
Rocky Dennis Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 Josh Low Junior Lewis Lee Marshall Elvis Hammond None of these would get a game in my charnwood sunday league team, And we're very crap!!
dannyallen1992 Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 Junior Lewis Ade Akinbyi Andy Johnson Rab Douglas All waste of money
Dames Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 I think by the end of the season Andy Johnson will have taken the mantle of worse player ever seen in a Leicester City Shirt.
JoeyB Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 I think by the end of the season Andy Johnson will have taken the mantle of worse player ever seen in a Leicester City Shirt. tbh i dont think he's that bad he may give the ball away too much but he wins 90% of the tackles he goes in for, and he has some good influence in the game
Who ate all the pies? Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 I dunno if anyone else agrees but I always thought David Oldfield was crap!
Dames Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 tbh i dont think he's that bad he may give the ball away too much but he wins 90% of the tackles he goes in for, and he has some good influence in the game Well its all good winning the ball, but then whats the point when he goes and gives it away
Rocky Dennis Posted 10 February 2007 Posted 10 February 2007 tbh i dont think he's that bad he may give the ball away too ,uch but he wins 90% of the tackles he goes in for, and he has some good influence in the game I would agree with that, hes never gonna be an izzet or a lennon but i think hes starting to look better the more he plays! Sounds like him and Jarrett might be a good partnership??
