Fox in a Box Posted 13 February 2007 Share Posted 13 February 2007 In the time of need, when we were in administration some people came forward and saved LCFC. I'd like to put it on record as a thanks for dipping into your long pockets and saving LCFC in time of need. As one chapter finishes another closes. Respect to Andrew Taylor, J.Johnson and Greg Clarke, for moving aside and allowing this take over to come to fruition. A HUGE THANKS TO NICK DARGAN - Deloitte for doing the BUISNESS!!! And of course these guys below who in the face of adversity kept the club going (just) CHAIRMAN Jim McCahill EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Tim Davies DIRECTORS Martin Glenn, Tony Lander, Malcolm Stewart-Smith, Tim Storer, Tony Wheeler MANAGER Rob Kelly CLUB SECRETARY Andrew Neville Honorary Vice Presidents: Gordon Banks OBE, Gary Lineker OBE MA, Peter Shilton Vice Presidents: Don Kendall, Audrey White, Ivor Finn, Luigi Orsi, Joan Austin, Neil Austin, Martin George, Robert Jelley, Neil Mason, Kev Bourgault, Frank Downes, Walter McRobie, Peter Freer, Bill Shooter, Terry Shipman, Tom Bloor, Ken Brigstock. Jon the Hat Posted 13 February 2007 Share Posted 13 February 2007 Here's to the Shareholders who stumped up their own hard earned cash to keep our club alive, and have now agreed to hand over the reigns to Milan to carry us on to the next level. They deserve our thanks. Lets hope they or a similar group are on hand should the worst happen again. I hope they walk away with heads held high, not nursing a bruised wallet. Simon Posted 13 February 2007 Share Posted 13 February 2007 He actually IS coming back. Heskey and the Horse strike duo! In all seriousness I would be over the moon if we could get Emile back here at some point in the next couple of years...
Katy Posted 13 February 2007 Share Posted 13 February 2007 what for? Maybe because he's done buggerall since he left Leicester?
Geo V Posted 13 February 2007 Share Posted 13 February 2007 Maybe because he's done buggerall since he left Leicester? You can probably count on one hand the amount of players who have left us in the last 10 years to go on to bigger and better things. Izzet`s career has gone downhill, Savage has moved about and plods on, Heskey hasnt kicked on etc etc.
The People's Hero Posted 13 February 2007 Share Posted 13 February 2007 Leicester is the place for strikers like Heskey. Unpretentious and appreciative of whatever we can get.

Head Honcho Posted 13 February 2007 Share Posted 13 February 2007 I'm a big Heskey fan and have top respect for him but there are probably a lot better options out there for the money. He still commands a £10-15K a week pay packet and won't come cheap, his agent will make sure of that!
