Flynny Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 I'm guessing that unless he's missing a chromosome, he's thought of that and there's a reason he isn't doing it.

Rincewind Posted 15 February 2007 Author Posted 15 February 2007 No I am not missing anything thank you for your concern anyway. I have just been on ebay. There are some on there a third of the shop price but not sure if they fit all phones. Theres a couple in their final hours so I could make a late bid. 1kb holding about 900 photos and comes with an adapter. Took the back off my phone. Cant see where the card goes unless its next to the sim card which looks like a slot with connecters. got 566 R on. Anyway I was told it needed a micro. If its wrong I can always resell it.

Daggers Posted 16 February 2007 Posted 16 February 2007 Memory Cards on Ebay ~ I got a new 4gb ProDuo card for £18 two weeks ago...happy? You betcha. Also, don't trust rogues on Ebay? Go for Moby Memory
Rincewind Posted 16 February 2007 Author Posted 16 February 2007 They all look similar. Can Bluetooth be used with them? I want to transfer music from PC to camera. Not enough space on camera. Just bid but was outbid at once. Only 5 minutes left. Theres some with an hour or so left.

Theres some with an hour or so left. after a quick search this phone uses microSD , and is bluetooth, you will need a dongle thingy on your pc, dont know if it can go usb route. For memory the 7dayshop in Jersey is usually cheapest ... visit Hot UK Deals for the best prices, enter forum and do a search for microSD or memory cards.
City Fan Posted 16 February 2007 Posted 16 February 2007 I got mine from Moby Memory, which is what Dave has suggested. Cheapest I could fine anywhere and I also got a USB card reader with it for only a few extra quid so can shove the card in and transfer files quicker rather than doing it through the phone itself. Ordered mine and it arrived next day, costing like a quid for delivery.
BMR Posted 16 February 2007 Posted 16 February 2007 make sure you get MicroSD and not miniSD they are different most microSD cards come with a standard SD adaptor so visit poundland for a usb card reader, bargain at erm a quid!
Rincewind Posted 16 February 2007 Author Posted 16 February 2007 just ordered one off ebay about £12 with postage. it is micro sd I believe but I sent a message to the seller to confirm its compatable before sending. The card reader sounds a good idea I do have a dongle (see trouble with my dongle thread) I may get another mery card and have one for photos and one for music so will look at that other link at some time.

The brand should not matter (within reason, ie unless you buy some really dodgy brand) as long as you buy: - the right type of card - a card size that your phone/appliance will be happy with...
Rincewind Posted 16 February 2007 Author Posted 16 February 2007 True. My next thing is bluetooth headphones. doing a 20 hr shift so will look tomorrow on ebay or better.
Bluefoxtim Posted 16 February 2007 Posted 16 February 2007 Memory Cards on Ebay ~ I got a new 4gb ProDuo card for £18 two weeks ago...happy? You betcha. Also, don't trust rogues on Ebay? Go for Moby Memory Fake though
Daggers Posted 16 February 2007 Posted 16 February 2007 Fake though Errmmm, let's see - it is a ProDuo card and it has a measured capacity of four gig so who cares what chuffing brand it is? It works and it now holds umpteen episodes of the Simpsons and Family Guy on my PSP.

cisono Posted 16 February 2007 Posted 16 February 2007 And I thought £30 for a 2GB phone memory card was good. Used to be... no longer the case though!
potter3 Posted 16 February 2007 Posted 16 February 2007 Used to be... no longer the case though! well it was the cheapest I could find that wasn't of eBay.
Daggers Posted 16 February 2007 Posted 16 February 2007 I set a max bid on a Sniper program for auctions that close during the night...means less likely that other people will enter a bid. I strongly recommend using Hammersnipe
Guest Posted 16 February 2007 Posted 16 February 2007 I quite like the Hammersmith and City line, there's some good pubs.....
