Smudge Posted 9 March 2007 Posted 9 March 2007 EDIT: You'd of thought that would be easy with my "connections" within the "inner circle" let me see what moderators are on. Whats he said thats ouuutttrraggeoouusss this week actually? It's just the usual snide comments no "David Beckham will sign for LA Galaxy you herd it here first" or "Sven will be the next Wham manager you'll all see hahahahahahahah"!! OK this week....Unfortunatley this has been deleted but. In truth JoeB could of probabley had his own competition this week, we've had everything from Geoff Horsfield being compared to Thierry Henry, to the kind of grammar mistakes a seven year old probabley wouldn't make (Sheeps ) Just looked it up, hilarious stuff sir, special forth entry for this week. We've yet to decide who's who. We've got as far as decideing that Dave's definatley not famine. "to the kind of grammar mistakes a seven year old probabley wouldn't make".........Priceless
Manwell Pablo Posted 10 March 2007 Author Posted 10 March 2007 "to the kind of grammar mistakes a seven year old probabley wouldn't make".........Priceless I think the funniest thing about that post is that you've actually taken X amount of minutes of your own time to go through and spell check all of my posts.
Zingari Posted 10 March 2007 Posted 10 March 2007 I think the funniest thing about that post is that you've actually taken X amount of minutes of your own time to go through and spell check all of my posts. whereas replying to a tongue in cheek criticism at nearly 2am on a saturday morning ( presumably after a late friday night out) is totally not wasting your time
The People's Hero Posted 15 March 2007 Posted 15 March 2007 Can I suggest Thracian's why do people berate Hammond but not Rooney? post for this week?
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 March 2007 Author Posted 15 March 2007 Can I suggest Thracian's why do people berate Hammond but not Rooney? post for this week? Certainly, all though I should warn you there are some classics floating about this week.
The People's Hero Posted 15 March 2007 Posted 15 March 2007 Certainly, all though I should warn you there are some classics floating about this week. That Leeds idiot has got 15 himself! Where's Joe_b though?
lcfc_jme Posted 15 March 2007 Posted 15 March 2007 That Leeds idiot has got 15 himself! Where's Joe_b though? I believe he operates as Lovejoy on here now. Look out for him in the near future. I myself would like to suggest Thracians comment questioning why Hammond is constantly slated but Rooney isn't. That is class.
Zingari Posted 16 March 2007 Posted 16 March 2007 fez ; post 30 in newcastle az thread : he should be a sun headline writer with this stuff; "Duff was dire and Dyer was duff."
Manwell Pablo Posted 16 March 2007 Author Posted 16 March 2007 OK, there have been plenty of corkers this week including one from myself about not having to cheer Zimbabwe on against the Irish in the ICC WC. Which I was going to put in but something else came along that was funnier . Duff was dire and Dyer was duff. Shocking. Fez's wit improves after an evening with Manwell Pablo Again, this offside issue is a perception thing. Rooney is forever being flagged offside but he'll get forgiven anything. Hammond doesn't get the same sympathy. Well there's a test Thracian did you not know? at the start of every season all managers take their players to a field full of cows, they then hand them banjos and tell them to get swinging, those that manage to hit the arse of a cow are allowed to be offside every now and again. Now over to my personal faviourate this week from orginalrobbofox Heres my odds....Gist - Newton (permanent) 11/2 Master Fox - Shaun Newton (permanant) 5/2 Safe to say Sirs Hill and Ladbrook won't be losing any sleep over the upcoming competition. Or maybe Newton is twice as good if you only use his surname
The People's Hero Posted 16 March 2007 Posted 16 March 2007 I think Gist was suggesting Eddie Newton? Or was it Sir Isaac?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 March 2007 Posted 16 March 2007 I vote for mine. Is there a vote? I vote for mine.
Ultra Posted 16 March 2007 Posted 16 March 2007 My favourite one is from the Potential Managers thread (page 2) I don't really like the sound of any of them. If i had 2 choose 1 it would be Nigel Worthington. Stuart Pearce has wasted a lot of money at Man City e.g Corradi, samaras. Vialli don't want a foreigner in charge Hello? Who does he think will be making the decision on a new boss?
Stinkenzo Posted 17 March 2007 Posted 17 March 2007 Henderson - F Stearman - U McAuley - C Kisnorbo - K Johansson - I Porter - N Jarrett - G Johnson - S Hughes - H Hume - I Horsfield - T
Trumpet Posted 17 March 2007 Posted 17 March 2007 Id like to divert attention to this thread, already a belter in there and full of potential http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry562535
Joe. Posted 17 March 2007 Posted 17 March 2007 I think Joeb's gem about Ben Foster being "a 20 out of 10 signing" deserves a quick mention. And here it is: could you count loans, in this or not? because if you do Ben Foster to Watford that has to be one of the best this season 20 out of 10 for that one
Simi Posted 17 March 2007 Posted 17 March 2007 Just In From Fez I'd better not mention what I've got my Mum cos I'm pretty sure she posts on here as BartonFox.
lcfc_jme Posted 19 March 2007 Posted 19 March 2007 Manwell, which is the winner this week? Or have I missed it already?
