Jay Posted 22 February 2007 Posted 22 February 2007 I am a big comedy fan and find it hard to say which one is my favourite!! I am a massive fan of Coogan all the way back to Paul Calf Video diaries which remain as one of the funniest things I have ever seen. others include many more that have been mentioned all ready including.. Bill Hicks total genius although it's a sad state of affairs when most of what he said 15 years ago is still almost as relevant today, just a different Bush!! The Mighty Boosh Bill Bailey Ricky Gervais Larry David from Curb your Enthusiasm which is one of the best things around at the minute Frank Skinner from his stand up days Adam Sandler The Pythons
dandannieldanok Posted 22 February 2007 Posted 22 February 2007 Frankie Boyle and Russel Howard From Mock the week are brilliant Harry hill Paul Merton on have i got news for you Partridge Mighty Boosh All very good, I would recommend you go and see Rich Hall whilst he is touring.

cisono Posted 22 February 2007 Posted 22 February 2007 I don't have a favourite as such. I think of comedians as a buffet bar... a bit of each (well, of most of them) is best for me!
Nationwider Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 I don't have a favourite as such. I think of comedians as a buffet bar... a bit of each (well, of most of them) is best for me! Kinky!
scodger cubs Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 My two favourite are Jack Dee and Lee Evans (His Cardiff performance was absolutely fantastic!!!) He is very funny!
JoeyB Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 who was the person who hosted the brits? Russel sumet or other
Leicfox Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 Now I think Lee Evans is hilarious. Yes, he is heavily influenced by Norman Wisdom, but is that bit more... I used to find Chubby funny when I was 16 (and I really don't mean to sound patronising by saying that!), but now I think he just effs and jeffs far too much. Doesn't do it for me anymore. As im 29yr old no offence taken. He's not really some one i watch at home and buy the dvd's, he's just so funny when you've had a few beers then go on to one of his live shows on Blackpool pier.
Zingari Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 who was the person who hosted the brits? Russel sumet or other russell hobbs he used to be just a tea boy on set.
Population-1 Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 Bill Bailey is good but Ben Bailey is better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHPgt2AYcqc Also, Tim Vine never gets the recognition he deserves. The guy can go for an hour yet never once resort to expletives in order to get a laugh.
Libertine Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 who was the person who hosted the brits?Russel sumet or other Brand.
imagine that Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 Can't stand Russel Brand. How did he get voted the funniest man on national television?!! I'd rather stand and watch an old grandad struggle to open a banana skin! EDIT: Just realised that watching a old grandad struggling to open a banana would be pretty funny
Webbo Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 As im 29yr old no offence taken.
