Daggers Posted 25 February 2007 Posted 25 February 2007 "It is too early in the process for an informed response."
Leicfox Posted 25 February 2007 Posted 25 February 2007 Leave now. Take a taxi for ten miles north. Change to another taxi to go in entirely the opposite direction. Get dropped off at Didcot railway station. Buy a ticket to Coventry but take the train to Paddington. Take the third train on the District line to Acton Green. Change to the Piccadilly line and get to Heathrow. In Terminal 3 by the Tri Star limo service desk you'll see a man with a ginger moustache. He'll be weariing a Tranmere Rovers replica shirt. Approach him with the words "After all, tomorrow is another day." His correct response will be "Frankly my dear I don't give a damn." The emphasis must be on the word "give". He will hand over details of your new identity and a one-way Ryanair ticket to Tehran. Good luck and God speed. Mr G.W Bush. ..................that is of course, if you wish to accept this mission!
Leicfox Posted 25 February 2007 Posted 25 February 2007 Yeah, but this worrys me more... Iran nukes TEHRAN, Iran - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Sunday his country's disputed nuclear program was like a train without brakes or a reverse gear, I guess Ahmedinajad has never seen the old film 'The Runaway Train'? Most Iranians will be thinking 'as long as we're not on board.
Jon the Hat Posted 25 February 2007 Posted 25 February 2007 Yeah, but this worrys me more... Iran nukes Indeed. Question: If you accept that over time, a country as rich as Iran will inevitably develop nukes, is it better to let that happen in 5 years, and not pre-emptively attack Iran, or to bomb all Known nuclear sites and other possible site and delay this for maybe a further 5 years? To bomb and prolong the process will inevitably fuel hatred and strengthen the position of the hardliners, so that when they get the bomb they are in power and they REALLY hate the west. The alternative is to attempt to form closer ties in the hope that over the time required to make this threat a reality Iran develops an understanding of the responsibilities that come with such power.

Half the problem is that Iran are probably lieing through their teeth when they deny they are seeking nuclear weapons.
Dr The Singh Posted 26 February 2007 Posted 26 February 2007 Half the problem is that Iran are probably lieing through their teeth when they deny they are seeking nuclear weapons. The issue is one of power!! Any nation with nuclear weapons will give them a position of strength regarding defence etc!! This power would give Iran a edge over it's neighbours and will give them a greater influence on over it's enemy Israel!! The obvious problem with Iran is that if Iran get's nuclear weapons and if the hardliners decide to use them it would be a massive disaster!! We have seen what nuclear weapons can do at other nations such as pakistan and India, who have proliferated the technology to other nations such as Iran and North Korea!! And Pakistan, with it's first use policy has been able to sponsor terrorism against India, hiding behind it's nuke!! Iran having nukes will change the outlook of the middle east, it will give it's hard lne fundamental groups such as hizbullah more strength and resolve against it's enemies!!!
Geo V Posted 26 February 2007 Posted 26 February 2007 They may be first class nutters over there but they are probably scared that there women dont end up like some of the slaggy birds out on our streets showing there baps and backsides to passers by! I reckon they sent soem reserachers to Newcastle on a Saturday night and have come back trying to make sure there women dont end up like them !!!
Suffolk_fox Posted 26 February 2007 Posted 26 February 2007 http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20070224/wl_mi...yHZys1EwgQUewgF Their country, their religion. They can do what the hell they want. Gives those that want Sharia law in this country somewhere to go to I suppose....
