BTW, time to tell the Missus that she is now a WAG and not the word that ryhmes with it and begins with the letter S. :D

I'm concerned that you'll suddenly need to relieve the tension in your testes halfway through some counter-attack.

It's going to be of no use if the team is laying the foundations for a goal while you're laying the foundations of some passing filly.

Bloody sex mad you Londoners. :D

Get yourself booked into the same hairdressers as me mate and we can have matching blonde perms or maybe a mixture of different colour highlights? We can also go and shop for the fancy boots and need to hit the tanning place to look the part. Our midfield will be blessed with so much creativity that Thracian will want to manage us instead!

You've got goal nets? does that mean Goals and nets or just nets lol.

And also I'd like to say some people may be forced to play out of position, I'm not fancying the 3-6-1 formation.

Date and exact times are yet to be discussed by May 5th 15:00 is the D/T being proposed at the minute. I'll get round to PM'ing everyone in our squad when it's full. We still need one more player.

lol just nets for now but I can sling a couple of goalposts on the top of the motor and drive up the motorway!

I blame it on the weather as it seems hotter down here than when I used to live in Leicester! :D

Right, time to get off this forum and thread in particular as I am getting a migrane looking through all the messages. This one may well overtake the Chebbies in popularity quite soon lol! :D:thumbup:

Right, because if we've got two full sized goals then suddenly the whole thing becomes a lot cheaper and easier to organise.

Make it in London and i`ll ask my brother if we can use there clubs ground which has a clubhouse the posh sods. BTW mate I strongly advise that once we have a date and the numbers are confirmed that we contact the club to see if they can help.

I know this isnt a great example but mates (years ago) organised a similar thing for fans Enfield FC (lol the great side itself) as there club was ripped apart by a dodgy chairman and they managed to get ex-Local players like Michael Dubbery (how shite is he BTW) and others and local clubs donated shirts and stuff to raise money for the newly formed Enfield FC or Town or whatever they were called. Im certain that plenty of the guys at Leicester are aware of this forum and if we are thinking of linking it to charity as discussed, we should get them to help out.

Theres been some talk of having it at Hinckley :dunno: like I said need players and a date first, which I'm currently working on, expect a pm!

Venues.. Anyone decided yet? I think it's worth a shout asking about the possibility of using the Walkers or Belvoir Drive. If not, might be worth asking for use of one of the pitches Aylestone Park have. And as said before, Judgemeadow have a great surface to play on up there.

I vote Aylestone

Aylestone sounds quite good as it isn't really expensive if everyone chips in. I can confirm that Maidstone is well and truly out of the question though.

As most of you lucky sods live around Leicester it obviously makes sense to do the event up there. The only suggestion I will make on the venue is book an astro-turf pitch because it would be a right mess if we turned up and the pitches were unplayable. Also if you get an astro-pitch you wont have to worry about goals lol!

BTW I think maybe everyone should sling in some cash for the fund to cover the costs of the day and whatever is left over can go into the Fund people have mentioned.

I reckon a grass pitch will be opk though, in June anyway - might be a bit risky in May.

If the costs and everything are worked out we can see how much will need to be donated, i dont mind contributing

I organised a 5-a-side event years ago in July and it was pi$$ing it down and we had to phone around to find an astro pitch at the eleventh hour. The natives were restless as was the burger van dude and St Johns Ambulance who were standing by! That was about 10 years ago though and with the weather as it is now you are right, it will probably be backing all right. i suppose if it does go tats up we could always head straight for the pub anyway lol.

There are many astroturf pitches that would, no doubt, be available to play on. It just comes down to which are the easiest to access for everybody on any given day at any given time.
