The People's Hero Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 The U21s will have loads of fit, healthy, young men to choose from. And Thracian as manager/enthusiast. I'd install them as early (big) favourites.

I wish I was there. I think this could be a thread of the year contender already. So we've got 1. Singh 2. Moi 3. TPH 4. Fezz 5. Finnegan haha we've got half a team already! We're going to need a sub I normally get tired after around 23.5 seconds. Oh BTW both squads are being capped at 11 players 7 subs (all of which can be used obviously, don't want to leave any one out.)

They all score 65 goals a season in the Sunday Midland Alliance Combination Pontins Reserve Youth Alliance Combination Midland Sunday Sunday Wednesday Alliance League from what I can work out anyway. We could be in for a stonking, particularly as all our places are getting taken up by bone idle layabouts like myself, Manwell and TPH who each last played competitively when we were 8.
Geo V Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 If I am in the country I would be proud to turn up as long as you can get the Birchster to run around the pitch a few times with Taggart and Elvis. (I havent booked summer hols to Cyprus yet or the trip with my son and his eveil mother to Disney World so I cant at this stage confirm the dates) I`d slot nicely in the heart of the central midfield for the over 21s (only just made it, squeezed in by 13 years). Im Neil Ruddock shaped although the gym work is going well this spring and I should be fully fit to boss the midfield with the tackling skills of The Horses elbow and the distribution of AJ. I`d also happily accept the captaincy .

True as that is I have recently been offered a contract playing XI a side. So I can't be that bad. I am horribly unfit though, Cigerate any one?
