Finnegan Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 Pardon my total computer stupidity, but me and my flat mate are trying to play a multiplayer FM07 match. I started a new game, he tried to join the game, putting in my IP as the server address. Said he couldn't connect to server. Again, if we're doing something well blatantly wrong - please feel free to laugh and make stupid / obvious suggestions, I don't have a clue what I'm doing here. I've lost my game mannual. I know we're both definately using 7.0.2.
potter3 Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I had this problem, except that message didn't come up, it just froze. I thought it was because mine was a dodgy disc.
lildave3 Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I presume the person hosting as ticked run as server and all that?
JoeyB Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 I presume the person hosting as ticked run as server and all that? Yeah if that's not done you'll you'll have to do that and then retry! If not it'll be the other address you want not th ip one buts theres another one (forgot it) and what you do is you link he two pc's together via the internet and play that way
hairy Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 Sometimes you need a twisted pair network cable for gaming.
Brainy Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 That always happened to me. My mate had to run it in the end.
Trumpet Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 If your playing on Lan, the I.P will most probably be : 192.168.1.1 OR 192.168.1.2 OR - just keep changing the last number 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 according.
