Manwell Pablo Posted 16 April 2007 Posted 16 April 2007 The atmosphere in League One may be better than the games we've had this season, and some of the places will be better to visit, but other than that it will not be all that fun. Imagine how embarrassing it'd be to be knocked out of the Johnstones Paint Trophy which we mocked Forest for playing in, or the FA Cup first round by a team of no hopers!! Our home attendances will be funny. For me of course seeing as I'm doing an away tour next season. Some clubs in League one have a very very poor away followings, we're talking like a average of about 200-300. N Block might actually be able to outsing them

If they have standing at home and make a fair bit of noise, I shall be happy, as that is where my viewing of live football shall happen - away from home. If N Block can continue to grow (!!) next season and does begin outsinging opposition fans, then brilliant, I'll be dead pleased for them.
FilboFox Posted 16 April 2007 Posted 16 April 2007 COME ON CITY!!! Anything but relegation!... it's never happened before for us!
Daggers Posted 16 April 2007 Posted 16 April 2007 BIG GAMESCarlisle - This will be a fun trip Carlisles got some gourgous women and a great night life You have to be joking. It is a pit, only bested by Barrow-in-Furness and Grays. Plus, all Carlisle home games are nil-nil draws on rain-sodden Tuesday nights. It is the law or something.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 16 April 2007 Posted 16 April 2007 If I ever want to see another televised game again, that isn't us getting the arse kicked out of us by Chelsea in the FA Cup, I suggest we stay up. I agree that League One is closer to grassroots football which I like, but if it appeals to you lads that much, Northampton is just around the corner. This is Leicester City ffs.
Wils Posted 16 April 2007 Posted 16 April 2007 Everything happens for a reason. Its more our standard anyway,at least we might win a few games.
Brainy Posted 16 April 2007 Posted 16 April 2007 We've hardly had many televised games this year. i think Lincoln and Walsall, and Notts F for a fact have had more. Anyway, promotion push next year, either from League One or the Championship.
