Floating Fox Posted 29 April 2007 Posted 29 April 2007 Birmingham wont be on TV. And i Really doubt that they'll be aloud to kick off at different times but it is Sky and the FLA do kiss their arses
Brainy Posted 29 April 2007 Posted 29 April 2007 Just saw an advert on Sky.. 2 football league games on Didn't say who, but they showed clips of Birmingham, Sunderland and Wolves...
Floating Fox Posted 29 April 2007 Posted 29 April 2007 They are showing two games via the red button Probably be us
Chrysalis Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 I been told we on sky, I emailed sky disgusted about the birmingham replay not been shown and got a reply on friday saying the wolves game will be shown as compensation.
Sods Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 I thought the games were to be announced today maybe they have
Brainy Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 What a joke. They've had about 12 games on TV this season.
Simi Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Taken from the Sky sports tv guide:SUN 6 TBC SS1 12.30pm Championship SUN 6 TBC SS1 3.00pm Championship That second one is a Prem game I think. According to Sky.
Bluefoxtim Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 That second one is a Prem game I think. According to Sky. They just said TWO CHAMPIONSHIP games? Looked again on the schedule - Arsenal and Chelsea @ 3.30 two champ games, 12.30 and 3
Simi Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 They just said TWO CHAMPIONSHIP games? Looked again on the schedule - Arsenal and Chelsea @ 3.30 They'll probably offer the choice of two with the red button.
Brainy Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 So now it comes back to this.. They are showing two games via the red button Probably be us
Simi Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 So now it comes back to this.. It doesn't say anything about that. But then again it does say that Brum and Sunderland are still chasing promotion.
Fatbloke Posted 30 April 2007 Author Posted 30 April 2007 We did`nt get the nod I`m affraid, sorry if I built up anyone`s hopes, we were genuinely under consideration but it was not to be, will ensure a big crowd at the Walkers hopefully !

Don't worry mate, I know that you were serious with your rumour I'm glad we're not on TV. I fooking hate sky. More than Virgin media. Wanquas
Chrysalis Posted 1 May 2007 Posted 1 May 2007 hmm if we not on sky what the hell are they doing telling me we on. Also I agree about birmingham they like the man u of this division on sky every month.
lcfc_jme Posted 1 May 2007 Posted 1 May 2007 Didn't really expect us to be on and I fully expected the Birmingham - Preston game to be shown. Both of those clubs have something vitally important to play for. And Brum are a Sky favourite this season.
Wilkesy Posted 1 May 2007 Posted 1 May 2007 The games have been confirmed as: Preston vs Birmingham West Brom vs Barnsley
Mort Posted 1 May 2007 Posted 1 May 2007 The games have been confirmed as:Preston vs Birmingham West Brom vs Barnsley My hunch is that it would have been us or the one at the Hawthorns, very similar sort of game... one side that needs the points for the playoffs and the other is bassically on holiday... or so they think
Joe. Posted 1 May 2007 Posted 1 May 2007 Not a surprise to not see our name on that list really When we're pushing for promotion next year then we'll be on more.....
Bryn Posted 1 May 2007 Posted 1 May 2007 I personally think us v Wolves is a far better game, and considering they cancelled the Brum game cause of the accident I'm surprised we weren't chosen.
Geo V Posted 1 May 2007 Posted 1 May 2007 Skys scheduling people are idiots! Wolves need to win and what better game to have than an almost packed house (if not completely) Midlands match that should have a great atmosphere, noise and colour on a lovely day in the mighty Leicester?! Saps have messed up on this one as our sides have a dcent recent history of high scoring games although one in particular still makes me sick
Guest Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 Does it really matter whether we're on TV or not? If it wasn't for Sky, most supporters would be able to enjoy watching their teams playing at 3pm on a Saturday.

If it wasn't for Sky, most supporters would be able to enjoy watching their teams playing at 3pm on a Saturday. It does matter to many who for one reason or another cant get to the game and they would enjoy watching there side on TV for once. I think we have only been on once this season as the Brum game was cancelled which is bad enough, especially as we get £100k+ for being featured!
