Terrific support from Hinckley - around 2,200 of the 2,600-odd crowd I would estimate.

Some cracking goals and decent football, particularly Hinckley's third and Farsley's 3-3 equaliser from a diving header.

Nice tidy ground at Burton too although the pitch surface seemed a bit bumpy.

Mind you the club must have the slowest turnstiles in Britain.

Admission (I never saw any tickets) was priced at such an awkward price (£13) that everyone needed change and

many missed the start of the game.

Hello there folks,

Just got back from The Greyhound Pub in Hinckley. I watched the Hinckley United V Farsley Celtic match, We were winning at one stage "But" we lost in the end to Farsley 4 - 3 to them.

I will give Hinckley a lot of credit tho, they are very talented and are a strong team.

Absolutely gutting, but what a fantastic match. Andy Brown and Neil Cartwright were excellent - oh well it was still a great season. Just a shame its going to be even harder to get out of the Blue Square Northern next season........

what seriously? you searched google for an image to go with 'ha ha' and that's the best you got? that's disappointing, or just plain sloppy on your part. I'll have to go with just the 1/10 for that I'm afraid, feel free to try again.

I shall be enjoying my pint with the real Kettering fans as usual when we play them next season, I doubt you'll be bothering being a day tripper and all...
