Craig Posted 4 May 2007 Posted 4 May 2007 What would be better? A Kettering v Hinckley final in front of over 2000 people or a Farsley v Workington final in front of about 500? Kettering vs Workington
DJhinckley Posted 4 May 2007 Posted 4 May 2007 Kettering vs Workington jesus, klatterin are running scared of us already and we or them aren't even at the final yet...

City Fan Posted 5 May 2007 Posted 5 May 2007 2-1 to Hinckley, barely a minute left to play - COME ON YOU KNITTERS!!!!!
City Fan Posted 5 May 2007 Posted 5 May 2007 They won't get anything at Workington.   And we'll do Farsley on saturday.
C-man Posted 5 May 2007 Posted 5 May 2007 Is the final being played at Burton Albion? Come on you knitters
Wilkesy Posted 5 May 2007 Posted 5 May 2007 Yes i think it is. Hinckley will play Farsley Celtic who won 4-2 on penalties ! A great chance to get promotion! Any one going to be there?
City Fan Posted 5 May 2007 Posted 5 May 2007 Is the final being played at Burton Albion? Yes, on 14th May Any one going to be there? Seeing as I have only missed 2 home games this season, I shall definitely be there.
Wilkesy Posted 5 May 2007 Posted 5 May 2007 Yes, on 14th MaySeeing as I have only missed 2 home games this season, I shall definitely be there. What is the ticket allocation? is it easy to obtain tickets? any prices?
City Fan Posted 5 May 2007 Posted 5 May 2007 What is the ticket allocation?is it easy to obtain tickets? any prices? I assume there will be no allocation as such because seeing as its Hinckley v Farsley instead of Hinckley v Kettering, and it being shown live on Setanta Sports, I can only imagine there being 1200 there at most. No ticket information has been announced yet but it wont be hard to obtain them, I assume you just turn up and pay on the door. And I would guess at about a tenner for adults. Hinckley charge £9 for home games and I can't imagine it will be much more than that to be honest.
Craig Posted 5 May 2007 Posted 5 May 2007 We were shocking today. Farsley are the most defensive and boring side i have ever watched, but they did the job, and did what they came to do. We don't deserve to go up with that performance. Good luck to Hinckley, you deserve it more than those boring twats. Incidently... their away attendance... 34. i counted.

No seriously, Unlucky. And good luck to Hinckley, earlier in the thread I was only winding people up, I'm bringing the banter and slagging Hinckley off from work onto the boards, It was only tongue in cheek earlier in the thread.

Bitter? No. i said they did what they came to do, and did it well? And as for their away attendance, i counted because the first half was so boring. I think Hinckley may outnumber them at the final lol

I think Hinckley may outnumber them at the final lol Your joking but you could be right. Hinckley v Nuneaton (@ the Marstons Stadium), Nuneaton outnumbered them by atleast double possibly more, I can't comment for the rest of the time but if thats the best Hinckley attendances get its bad, very bad!

It was about 60:40 in favour of Nuneaton, hardly outnumbering them by double. And who cares about attendances? Results are what get you higher in the league, not the amount of fans!

No, seriously... There's Hinckleys poor support... and then there's Farsley lol You're forgetting that this wasn't just a league game, it was a playoff semi final 2nd leg! Hinckley would have brought 50, at least! lol lol lol
City Fan Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 Youre both right, Hinckley haven't got that many supporters, but I don't see either Kettering or Nuneaton playing Farsley in the final! And half the "fans" Nuneaton take to Hinckley are just little chavs looking for a fight, its quite funny that Nuneaton bring more "fans" to Hinckley than they normally get at a home game!

Fuk off! I work with a lad who was proudly spouting shit that such as "Yeah I pretty much started the fight's at the Hinckley v Nuneaton match"...He's from Hinckley, was supporting Hinckley...Yeah thats really summit to be proud of mate -Whether he did start the fights or not is another story, but why the fuk is he proud, and going around claiming he started it. You are right though Nuneaton have alot of chavs go to watch them, but Hinckley, Kettering, and many/all other clubs in that league have a majority of chavs following them!
DJhinckley Posted 6 May 2007 Posted 6 May 2007 in the interests of fairness: the 2889 crowd on boxing day was 50/50. as was said at the time with the proper nuneaton fans if they are claiming they brought (and to be fair none of the proper ones did make that claim) more than 1400 that would mean not only did they double their previous weeks home attendance for an away match, but also brought 400+ more fans to Hinckley, than turned up at Manor Park for their home match against Hinckley a couple of days later. it's interesting to see the big club part time supporters talking on a LCFC about an alleged poor support, when Hinckley's support is comparitive to the league they're in. Nuneaton and Kettrin have historically always had a larger than normal support for this level, yet a look at the attendance tables show Hinckley in 6th with an average 750 (take out the Nuneaton game and still in 6th with average 680ish), behind teams such as Scarborough, Nuneaton, Kettrin, Barrow, and Worcester who are all ex Conference (or even League) clubs. if it makes you feel superior in some way then please carry on, Hinckley have lived with that for years since the 60's when Athletic dropped down the southern league and Boro moved up the southern league. it's taken us 50 years to turn it round and we'll just quietly carry it on, passing you on the way while you keep telling yourself how well you are supported. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- to all the LCFC fans that are interested in going to the play off final, I will post prices and turnstile details when available. It will not be all ticket, but will be segregated. Afterall you don't really want to be in with the leeds farceley fans, or maybe you do?

What i said about Hinckley was tongue in cheek.
