Mark Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 Is it just me or has there has been an insane amount of them recently, for the past couple of hours I've had 2 squeeze through the slightest open window and since closing at least 4 of the feckers continually trying to inside. Wasps are annoying beyond belief.
Leicfox Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 I massacred one this afternoon that was in my kitchen, it was flying round all cocky, then BANG, i fly sprayed it. Then as soon as it dropped on the lino i used the bottom of the can to torture it, sqeezing its little belly and trying to see where the sting comes from.... i was quite suprised with how long it took to die though, tough little bugger. Im all heart, but i agree they're all over the place atm.
The People's Hero Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 Best bit of nature in action I've even seen was a wasp getting caught in a spider's web and struggling before inevitably succombing. Brilliant. I had to go out and bat before the end of the show unfortunately. 45 runs that day though - so not all bad.
dandannieldanok Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 I've not noticed any personally, all though I'm sure I will sooner rather than later. I always thought they came out at the end of summer, August/September
Flynny Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 Not seen one all day. I'll get stung by one now I've said that.
Daggers Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 I hadn't seen any of the annoying little bastards until a minute ago...oh, hang on - we're talking about wasps aren't we. Damn. I thought we were discussing that dumb little runt a-fox and his stupid posts.

I hadnt seen the original "The Fly" movie before a few weeks backa nd the funniest bit of TV I have seen was when the fly, along with human head was caught in a spiders web and was on the verge of being eaten and starte dto squeel. It was fantastic viewing
