Simi Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 I agree. They say we're not allowed study leave because there's more distractions at home but turning up to lessons is a joke. I could get more revising in at home easily I'm sure I could aswell. It's hard to motivate myself for a subject I have no need to be in.
syston_fox Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 One exam here or there that goes badly... that's nothing. Particularly if there are retake options within a limited time period (a few months). One failure isn't a disaster... usually. Here endeth the morale boosting sermon. What about two exams that are disasters
Tommeh Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 I agree. They say we're not allowed study leave because there's more distractions at home but turning up to lessons is a joke. I could get more revising in at home easily don't go then, atm for us its a joke aswell we had double media on wednesday, but me and me mate went to mine to play LMA 07 or is your school protected with an electric fence?
potter3 Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 don't go then, atm for us its a joke aswell we had double media on wednesday, but me and me mate went to mine to play LMA 07 or is your school protected with an electric fence? Where's his school, Russia?
lookwhaticando Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 What about two exams that are disasters Same exam twice, or two difficult exams in a very short space of time, or two easy exams a mile apart from each other? If the latter, you should really rethink the path you chose. A few exams don't matter too much... it really depends on the circumstances.
Simi Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 don't go then... To be honest I can feel a cold coming on or something.
lildave3 Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 To be honest I can feel a cold coming on or something. You know it makes sense Ched, keep me company
Simi Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 You know it makes sense Ched, keep me company Screw that. Football again for me, all day long. I'll be outside in the sunnnnnshhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeee
Bluefoxtim Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 My AS exams are only just getting started.... Had a couple of general studies but im not counting them. Got geography tomorrow, business next monday and then economics the following friday. We also have to go back for A2, and because my exams all start late, i get NO BREAK BETWEEN FINISHING EXAMS AND GOING BACK FOR A2. Eco on the friday, then back on monday Have to go back for 5 weeks None of the teachers understand why we have to go back - spend a few weeks learning stuff than having a two month break, then going back and relearning all the stuff you have forgotten. Plus, there'll be people who come back for the 5 weeks, fail all the AS exams, and not bother coming back afterwards. I'm trying to keep about 100 pages worth of case studies in my head for the geography exam. Brainwashed...all I can think about is The Kissimmee river, mexico city, costa rica..
Bluefoxtim Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 I remember when I did my GCSE business exam, I was sitting right at the back of the huge hall just in front of a radiator keeping the whole room warm. I have never been so hot in my life... very nearly passed out.

Sitting near the back is where the action is. I just really hate being on the front row.
Tommeh Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 Sitting near the back is where the action is. I just really hate being on the front row. you always want to turn around.. I did it in my english lit exam last year ten this 90 year old guy with a huge beard, said "turn back round now or your papers gone!" arse

Like our school, which is now a secure campus cos they've got a bullet proof door at the front. Shame they leave the back gate open all day!

I've been home/town a couple of times this week but I went to school because I thought the lessons might be useful seeing as theres the rest of the exams coming up in a couple of weeks. How wrong was I...

It's also really bad when you have to sit with the blazing sun in your face for a couple of hours.

lcfc_jme Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 Nice and juicy PE exam earlier, pretty sure I've passed it but when I feel like that I generally tend to fail. Oh well, 2 Law exams left after the holidays (June 11th to be precise) and I'm done until September. Jesus I love being a student.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 My A-level English Literature exam clashed with England-Brazil in the 2002 World Cup Quarter-Finals. You think that's bad. I had to get ready upstairs and literally sprint out of the house so as not to hear anything from the TV which my Dad was watching downstairs. When I got there everyone was waiting outside the exam hall and rumours were going round that we were 1-0 up through an Owen goal. I couldn't concentrate at all. When we got into the exam hall one of my teachers walked up to the whiteboard at the front and wrote: Latest Score England 1 Brazil 2 By the time he'd got to the end of the word Brazil I was nervous as hell and was devastated when he put the 2 up. About half an hour into the exam he walked to the front and crossed out the Latest Score bit and wrote Full Time. Then he hovered his pen over the 1 next to England, and then walked off. F**king c**t. My Dad videoed it but I never watched it. Couldn't concentrate on the paper at all but still scraped a C.

Two PE exams the day after the Champions League Final??
