potter3 Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 It's ludicrous planning in my opinion. Surely most people doing a sports course would be interested in watching the CL final, and surely the exams planners would know well in advance what day the CL final will fall on. Where the fock are you getting contemporary studies from?!? !! -------------------------- I haven't at all been revising since November. Started a month or two ago and stepped it up a notch or three in the last few weeks. Well tomorrow I have two PE exams, A&P and Contemporary Studies. I'm assuming it's the same course...
lcfc_jme Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 Well tomorrow I have two PE exams, A&P and Contemporary Studies. I'm assuming it's the same course... Hmm nah I did a Socio-cultural PE exam back in January, and the only PE exam I have tomorrow is A&P combined with Skill Aquisition. Not a single mention of contemporary studies my friend. What exam board you with??

Alright then, December or January at the latest. I know so.

lcfc_jme Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 Alright then, December or January at the latest. I know so. I beg to differ. I began revising for a Law exam I took in January in December of 2006. But then I did no form of revision until the back end of March/early April.
potter3 Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 I wish I started revising earlier, but until recently I thought I'd have another 2 week for PE <_<

Guest Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 PE? Contemporary studies? Religious studies? What happened to proper subjects?
potter3 Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 PE?Contemporary studies? Religious studies? What happened to proper subjects? Contemporary Studies is part of PE I do Maths and Biology too And Chemistry, they're proper enough for you
Guest Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 Contemporary Studies is part of PE I do Maths and Biology too And Chemistry, they're proper enough for you Throw in a bit of physics, and I'll let you off.
Daggers Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 Throw in a bit of physics, and I'll let you off. It's not proper Physics anymore...it's all empathising with electrons and understanding the feminist perspective with regards electro-motive induction. I remember when it was all just fields, fields as far as the eye could see.
potter3 Posted 23 May 2007 Posted 23 May 2007 Throw in a bit of physics, and I'll let you off. Hurmmm, I laugh at someone who has about 20 Physics past exam papers stashed in his bag
Jonbluefox9 Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 I've done my General Studies, English Language and Sociology exams now. Only got Biology after the holiday and then it's pretty much the summer holidays. I quite like A-Levels
The Reverend Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 Just done my Sports Exam (socio-cultural) and thought it was pretty sound. Didnt struggle with anything so its all good!

I quite like A-Levels  <_< We have to come back and start A2, or we run the chance of geting thrown of the course <_< Just done PE: A&P and PE: Contemporary Studies. Went better than I thought it would, 99% I've apssed it, but I doubt I'll get higher than a C
lildave3 Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 I wont mention how my exam went this morning ay Lwicd! You moan about us lot going on about exams, then you come in here yourself. Tut.
Wils Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 You moan about us lot going on about exams, then you come in here yourself. Tut. Thats true. Im in peices here give it a rest.
lookwhaticando Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 One exam here or there that goes badly... that's nothing. Particularly if there are retake options within a limited time period (a few months). One failure isn't a disaster... usually. Here endeth the morale boosting sermon.

JoeyB Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 well after the 4th of june i dont have to get back for A2
Joe. Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 Going to school at the moment is a joke. I agree. They say we're not allowed study leave because there's more distractions at home but turning up to lessons is a joke. I could get more revising in at home easily
