The People's Hero Posted 21 May 2007 Posted 21 May 2007 Tell me about it. These guys are effectively on their summer holiday with the slight inconvenience of spending half a morning now and again answering a few questions.Don't be offended, just enjoy it and by all means don't get stressed . You ain't seen nothing yet. (I admit I get a bit of study leave - out my holiday though - but I work 55 hours a week normally so 'kin deserve it) How are your studies going mate? I know you're at the exam stage now... Is that it all over for you then? Or is it modular and you're on you're way to bigger and better things?
Gené and Tonic Posted 21 May 2007 Posted 21 May 2007 yes i admit i only had 2 lessons today, but cycling home was an effort!
potter3 Posted 21 May 2007 Posted 21 May 2007 People are moaning about 2 1/2 hours!Don't know how lucky you are. I do 4 hour papers. I don't get study leave. I work full time. I appreciate this is a choice but come on people... It's all circumstantial (if thats the right word ) I'm sure you moaned when were doing GCSE's or A levels.
James. Posted 21 May 2007 Posted 21 May 2007 How are your studies going mate? I know you're at the exam stage now...Is that it all over for you then? Or is it modular and you're on you're way to bigger and better things? Yeah 3 exams this week, then one more Case Study Exam in September. Then, for what it's worth, it'll be James the Blue ACMA (part of the hedonistic world of the Chartered Management Accountant). Doesn't really fit my short term career goals but in the long term when I start giving back to the world (hopefully through financial management and planning for charities) it should come in handy. I have a plan, you see. Are things nearing completion for yourself?
lildave3 Posted 21 May 2007 Posted 21 May 2007 Pah, we don't get study leave...... <_< As if i'm turning up. English tomorrow then 2 weeks off
Guest Posted 21 May 2007 Posted 21 May 2007 It's all circumstantial (if thats the right word ) I'm sure you moaned when were doing GCSE's or A levels. No, I put my feet up and waited for the next exam. They were harder in my day, too.
Tommeh Posted 21 May 2007 Posted 21 May 2007 another joke of a general studies exam today must confess while writing the word lemon I wrote Lemond, don't ask why
Simi Posted 21 May 2007 Posted 21 May 2007 another joke of a general studies exam today must confess while writing the word lemon I wrote Lemond, don't ask why Probably best we don't.
cisono Posted 21 May 2007 Posted 21 May 2007 Took an internally-set exam last week. Question 2 was plainly WRONG. I asked if I could just state it was wrong and why (it was based on a false premise). I was told that no, I had to ANSWER it.
JoeyB Posted 21 May 2007 Posted 21 May 2007 What was question 2 then? and what do you think it should of been?
cisono Posted 21 May 2007 Posted 21 May 2007 What was question 2 then?and what do you think it should of been? Well it was about where (which country) person X got idea Y from. However, I had read that person X never acknowledged getting his idea from anywhere, almost as if implying his were original ideas.

Guest Posted 22 May 2007 Posted 22 May 2007 Well I have Constitutional and Administrative law tomorrowDicey - I hate you! Mine is Thursday. Dicey is great. It's all the others who disagree with him who are bar stewards.
Joe. Posted 22 May 2007 Posted 22 May 2007 English Lit this morning... Can't say I'm looking forward to it
Alexikokopops Posted 22 May 2007 Posted 22 May 2007 My first exam is next Wednesday. I need an average of 51.7% for a 2.1 in my four exams left to sit and three assignments I'm waiting to get back. Hopefully it should go ok, but I'll probably manage to feck it all up, ha.
Benji Posted 22 May 2007 Posted 22 May 2007 Mine is Thursday. Dicey is great. It's all the others who disagree with him who are bar stewards. Hah true, why can't people just except what is is

James. Posted 22 May 2007 Posted 22 May 2007 1 down 2 to go. 21 pages of solid writing. I don't think I'll ever meet Miss Palm again after that marathon. Still, it went pretty well, no real surprises which is always nice and I'm now officially 33.3% closer to my weekend bender. EDIT: forgot to mention that I did this exam having been woken up in the night by my housemate having a f**king menage a trois. On the one hand how can I be angry with the guy, on the other hand of all the nights...
lookwhaticando Posted 22 May 2007 Posted 22 May 2007 EDIT: forgot to mention that I did this exam having been woken up in the night by my housemate having a f**king menage a trois. Now there's a line you don't see very often.
AoWW Posted 22 May 2007 Posted 22 May 2007 EDIT: forgot to mention that I did this exam having been woken up in the night by my housemate having a f**king menage a trois. Your sure you shouldn't have just gone for the old 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em approach'?!
lookwhaticando Posted 22 May 2007 Posted 22 May 2007 Your sure you shouldn't have just gone for the old 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em approach'?! Disappointing. Must try harder, you wally. Sometimes I think you're away with the fairies.
