Molson Canadian Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 Here's a clip of Toronto' FC first goal ever in the MLS, it took them 5 games to score a goal and the fans loved it, the frisbee's they threw out on the field were on all 20,000 seats s seats and were intended to be souviener's so they say but we really know it was just to throw them out when they scored...also the fireworks were only a one time thing since it was the first goal a bit cheesy i know but it was fun to watch it took a while to clean up but it was worth it !!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQvz01OKrsA
Micky Ruddle Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 We'd get chucked out if we chicked frisbee's wouldnt we?
Wils Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 We'd get chucked out if we chicked frisbee's wouldnt we? Not if there was as many people as that throwing them.
MC Prussian Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 Frisbees are a potential weapon - but thank god Toronto lies in Canada!
MC Prussian Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 After four consecutive losses with no goals scored for them, Toronto also won the following game against defending MLS champions Houston Dynamo through Andy Welsh's first MLS goal. Signs of good things to come?
Stevosevic Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 Was that Rob Newman i saw on the touchline as manager?

Geo V Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 I dont know whats funnier, the frisbees being hurled (poor sods in the front getting clouted in the head no doubt) or the comments left by some of the fans on youtube.... "that was an insane game", "that is awesome i was going crazy when they scored!! go tfc ", "Next up Houston baby! ", "You're an idiot!! You don't what soccet means to people here in TO!!! ", "theres only 1 danny dichio, one danny dichio, walking along singing a song, walking in a dichio wonderland." Im in tears!
potter3 Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 The Dichio wonderland was an English football fan! i think

Molson Canadian Posted 17 May 2007 Author Posted 17 May 2007 The Dichio wonderland was an English football fan! i think the preston fans came on the toronto fc fansite and suggested the dichio song...ever since they have been singing the dichio wonderland song at the games
Micky Ruddle Posted 18 May 2007 Posted 18 May 2007 Not if there was as many people as that throwing them. Would it be a good idea if we tryed that then
Webbo Posted 18 May 2007 Posted 18 May 2007 Thats the best one  I hate most/all American commentators, expecially commentating on "soccer" i was in Florida during last years world cup, watching Argentina (against Mexico i think) on the tv. John Harkes the ex Derby player was co-commentating when Argentina brought on their last sub. John Harkes keep saying how he couldn't believe that they hadn't brought on Messi, and that they had used up all their subs and couldn't bring on Messi now ,he repeated it a couple of times. A minute later the twattish yankee commentator said ' so when do you think they'll bring Messi on?' you could tell by the tone of Harkes's voice that he couldn't believe what a twat he was sat next to.
