MON Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 Simply. LAY OFF Stewart. He's a defender and he did his job well. People like scowcroft, whenever they do something bad have "unlucky" shouted B) at them. At Stewart they say things that shouldnt be on a forum which is also used by kids.
Scarby Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 You like your rants dont you MON!! and as much as i agree with you about supporting your players and team at the end of the day everyone that goes pays a lot of money to see the game and have the right to say what they want!
Oli Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 At the end of the day Stewart was a joke, he wasnt played as a defender second half MON. A left midfielder, there to put crosses in, my grandma could cross better than him. And I have never heard a the crowd chant unlucky. How does this chant go then MON.
Mark Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 His crossing was terrible again, but remember, the last two goals we've scored came from his crosses, whether the rest of them were shit or not. His position was left back, and he defended reasonably well. Tiatto was just as bad on the left of midfield.

Ash Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 I don't agree with every chant made towards Stewart, But he bring's it on himself with his crap footballing skills
Guest Daniel Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 I don't agree with every chant made towards Stewart, But he bring's it on himself with his crap footballing skills 63087 Unlike other weeks i have not got on his back, i think he played bad but getting on his back will do nothing for us. I think he's got it, but he doesnt apply it often enough.
filbertway Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 Today stewart was awful going forward and he squandered alot of good attacking chances. But at the back he did ok.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 Stewart should not be in the first team really, but seeing as we have no other half decent left sided defender.....Stewart is put there. He was rubbish today as was Dabizas and Heath. What the fans give him is right in my opinion. End of.

Ajax Treesdown Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 You and me mate. In saying they were rubbish does not imply that they shouldn't be in the first team. Come on.....common sense! Stearman and Heath. Dabizas might be experienced but he has no pace and looks like a carthorse. Alright.
Scarby Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 This remines me of Lewis. Heath and Stewart dont bring it on at all afterall its CL that picks them! he thinks that they good enough!
Ajax Treesdown Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 Whatever mate whatever. Soon as new defenders arrive they'll go.
Anish Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 Stewart did a reasonable job defending but his attacking play was simply awful. He cross in the last minute which went high and wide and went straight out for a goalkick summed it up perfectly. He was so wasteful today with his crossing (and his set pieces in the first half) it was unbelievable.

City Fan Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 Stewart was just diabolical today. Couldn't pass, couldn't cross, too scared to tackle. MON - Are you Jordan Stewart in disguise??
Katy Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 Stewart was just diabolical today. Couldn't pass, couldn't cross, too scared to tackle.MON - Are you Jordan Stewart in disguise?? 63151 I thought there were worse players on the pitch than Jordan. Dabs and Badjonsson to name two!
Scarby Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 Whatever mate whatever.Soon as new defenders arrive they'll go. 63136 thats just my point!! im sure they will go but whats the point saying how usless they are and booing them when we have no other option!! No point what so ever!!!
Jonbluefox9 Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 Yes, Stewart was disappointing today and was quite poor at Reading apart from his cross for Scowy's goal. I did notice at Reading that the person next to me sounded like they didn't go to many home games nevermind away games and so were judging Stewart on what other people were saying. At one stage Walker had the ball at his feet and I shouted "Pass it to anyone but Jordan." I didn't particularly mean it but this lad seemed to judge him on what I'd said for the rest of the game. Even when he was going through a quiet stage in the match, the lad was still slating him. I'm reluctant to criticise Jordan because before the last few games he'd been looking impressive but I have to admit that lately he's been poor. He is a confidence player and the way he walked off today showed how much he was lacking. Craig might have to use a bit of man-management to help Stewart return to form.
Wilson Posted 5 February 2005 Posted 5 February 2005 Stewart just needs to regain his confidence & then he should be abit decent again, he was no way near as bad as Tiatto - worst player on the pitch today IMO.

I REALLY hope CL can build up personalities, cause Jordan is one that needs to be taken care of...
Wilson Posted 6 February 2005 Posted 6 February 2005 Some people just need a scapegoat for when things are not going our way.
