Walshy tells a few home truths!

Walshie is indeed a LEGEND no doubt, but he was not as good a player as he or most City fans think he was, but a Legend a cult hero.

But to say Savage was shite and only looked good cos of his hair and chasing the ball all the time is bollocks! Savage was quality for us (eventually) especially was the turd Taylor sold Lennon

Savage gets a lot of abuse which shouldnt come from any City fans him Lennon and Izzet were superb one season i went home and away and the only Midfield who i saw get the better of them were the then Arsenal centre Midfield of Viera and Petit.

Savage was quality during his first four seasons with us, but his form fell away badly in the last season under Taylor and Bassett.

Anyone who witnessed his antics against us for Birmingham would have lost a lot of respect for him. In particular, his whinge to the ref to get Matt Elliott sent off (which probably lay behind Walshy's comment the other night) was nauseating in the extreme.

And the manner in which Sav left the brummies, and later ended his international career, suggests that he has lost control of his ego.

It's not surprising other professionals want to have a dig at him.

Why, are you going?

I'm sure the LCGS, among others, will be VERY impressed with your keyboard heroics.

Football groupies there is nothing worse.

Wonder if the sweep has been won yet

Too right...- especially the male ones.. lol

So I ended up giving the do a miss in the end.

It only needed a spark of adolescent insecurity (possibly alcohol-fuelled) from someone taking objection to my presence, and things could have kicked off big time.

It really wouldn't have been worth it.

Finners was SO wrong when he called you a dirty old paed.

He should have pointed out that you are deeply unfunny too.

Oooh, touched a nerve have we?

If you can't take it, don't dish it out!

Shut. Up. lol

Can't take what...dull & witless comments from a sad little fat twat who has problems with his flies and gets his kicks from underage girls on the internet?

Go back to being a stormtrooper on your under-subscribed and tediously dull forum...

Toddle on now.

Cheerio.

Don't see why not.

If the club can find a role for Alan Birchenall (who won jack for the club as a player) they should surely be able to look after someone with true legend status!

I always liked Walshie, but not to the same degree as AOWW. If only he could come back and kick a few arses into shape...

Sure, I've always been a fan of his footballing skills. Top defender.:whistle:

Since leaving the club during the Halcyon Days of Mr P.Taylor, what has Steve Walsh actually done football-wise?

I make it about 6 years (give or take) since he left. I'm just curious....

Well he had an unsuccessful spell at Norwich City and then Tamworth.

You think you're so brave, but you're just a sad little keyboard hero with no mates and no life.

If you really think you'll force me off this board by posting a series of abusive and tawdry lies, you are VERY wrong!

Not to mention a couple of games at Cov...

But he did help Tamworth reach an FA Trophy final.

Let's leave his soiled stint at Coventry out of this

Answers to that would easily fit on the back of a postage stamp, and have already been outlined most succinctly by Barton Fox and Ultra.:whistle:

lol as if any one would a) object to you being there or b) have any reason to feel insecure in your presence.

I think many would have found his dirty old man's Nazi mac a tad unsettling to be honest...not to mention his expansive discoloured Y-fronts showing through the open flies

Your children (assuming they exist) have enough problems already..
