Lord Nibblington Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 If we were in shape maybe we'd have won? Well. You make a good point.
Lord Nibblington Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 Oh and I forgot to add. 'Kokopops is an absolutely awesome goalkeeper. His challenge on lildave3 was one of the greatest I've ever seen in my life. It was a fair challenge. Some blatent diving going on, if you ask me!
lcfc_jme Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 It was a fair challenge. Some blatent diving going on, if you ask me! Of coruse it was !! And as if Fez wasn't attempting to dive early in the second half either!!
Simi Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 you know he was you pointed him out to me That was a rumour going round. Can I give a special mention to Filbertway for his awful miss.
cisono Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 We didn't really have a formation. It sort of went to pot. I'm a winger and played at centre back/left back. I detect a slight tactical problem there
Simi Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 It was a fair challenge. Some blatent diving going on, if you ask me! I've never seen someone fall on the floor as much as Fez did today.
Joe. Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 you know he was you pointed him out to me No it was me who pointed him out because I went over and spoke to him
Lord Nibblington Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 Of coruse it was !! And as if Fez wasn't attempting to dive early in the second half either!! Course he wasn't! Bunch of honest pros are the Over 21s. Clean as a whistle.
Sly Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 I detect a slight tactical problem there Just imagine if we'd been more organised.
Joe. Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 There was a lot of slight gamesmanship from the Over 21-s today
Lord Nibblington Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 There was a lot of slight gamesmanship from the Over 21-s today We were just using our experience!
Lord Nibblington Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 Just imagine if we'd been more organised. To be fair, it was only really in the second half that the formation went entirely. And we did manage to score 3 goals then! It was the complete lack of defenders that accompanied it that caused a few problems.
Cobbo Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 Glad it was a good game lads. Organise another for later in the summer and I shall grace you with my presence.
Maybes Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 Great game although the rain never showed up. Good effort from the over 21's but to be honest we camped in your half for the majority of the second half and missed manier chance. Worst miss of the day : Damo aka filbertway missing an open goal after koko pops made a very bad error. Goal of the day: JME's or Finnegans both delightful lobs. TPH ran his socks off and scored a corker of a header from a beautifully placed crossed from tomassi. Joy to meet you all, looking forward to next year already Oh and cheers for the beers after down the loaded dog. Top day!

Maybes Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 Well done Maybes, I thought you had a really good game. Cheers mate. I tried to instruct our back four as much as I could. Finnegans pace did cause a few problems mind.
Wezleylowski Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 Good day all in all, met a cracking bunch of lads. Dissapointed with the gaffer taking me off just as me and Maybes (and Thracian) had devised a cunning plan to keep Finnegan quite. Also was loving Fez's dive, it was truly majestic Quote of the Day for me was when LCGsian got in TPH's car. And then said that girls do it all the time at traffic lights lol Special mention for JME aswell, he had a blinder and truly impressed me. Genius. And and thanks to Thracian aswell for paying for us and sharing his wisdom with us and manwell for organising it:)

JoeyB Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 So glad i didn't play today! i would of been dead after running 10 meters with the heat and being unfit! but will get into some training soon and hopefully play in the next game!
Dames Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 Looked and sounded a good day out. Congrats to the Under 21's Should do another one soon or next year like some people have already said.
Joe. Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 I was just disappointed, along with others, that our manager wouldn't play a 5 minute cameo role...
Floating Fox Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 Not to mention when he cut up the woman in the people carrier on the way out of the car park to much abuse!! He about took some of us out as well with his wreckless driving.
Mort Posted 9 June 2007 Posted 9 June 2007 Were you sitting near the corner with flower necklace on? Nah... i was the one in the blue T-Shirt, who didnt decide to "dress up" for the "hippie" theme party we were at furhter down in the park...
