Raj Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Does anyone actually think Simon will win? Kristina's gotta be the outright favourite right? Mind you didn't most people think Fatty Ruth would beat the blondie last year?

Lord Nibblington Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 I think Kristina should win. I think Simon will win. Despite being a useless tosser.

stez Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 I think Kristina should win.I think Simon will win. Despite being a useless tosser. i agree with that, and hearing s'ralan this morning bigging up simon like there was no tomorrow made me even more convinced. having said that he might be trying to con (not in a law suit way) everyone.
Tommeh Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Pretty much. I think Kristina should win but with Naomi and tre out my interest may be slightly more limited.
syston_fox Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Simon has as good a chance as Kristina because the final decision isn't based on the tasks or what we see: the final two work for Sir Alan before he decides who stays and who goes. Former runner-up Saira Khan has criticised the show because "the final decision is not based on the programme that people see, his final decision is based on these two people who have been working with him for the six months". http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/6729621.stm
Maybes Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 I think Sir Alan is more likely to take simon under his wing than christina. I believe he wants to nuture the apprentice and with Simon he is very easy to tame HES THE WINNER!
Lord Nibblington Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Also, I'm fairly certain I heard somewhere that Alan does a bit of business with Simon's Dad. Dunno how true that is, but if it is, it might explain a few things.

davieG Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 I've stopped watching it as it seems to me people are not being selected for the show based on their business pedigree but in order to make it an "interesting" and "provocative" programme to the average punter, like an upmarket big brother. Some of the people on there wouldn't have lasted two seconds in the companies/businesses I've worked for or had dealings with, they couldn't project manage an individual to boil an egg. Sir AS went way down in my estimation when he selected last years winner who seem to tick all the boxes of the type of person he says he doesn't want, bullshitter, schmoozer, I've had it hard all my life hard luck story, he was completely taken in and his judgement has proved to be way off by the subsequent failure of the winner and the relative success of the loser.
JoeyB Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 She'll win it! Wrong!! Simon pisses me off big time! Gutted!!

Raj Posted 14 June 2007 Author Posted 14 June 2007 Good shout Maybes Alan sure likes his outsiders eh?
Lord Nibblington Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 Good shout Maybes Alan sure likes his outsiders eh? Or people who are just rubbish.
The Reverend Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 It seems like he goes for the younger one every time.
Suffolk_fox Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 I think Kristina hit the same problem as Badger did. She came across more as the finished article, whereas the name of the game is 'The Apprentice'. That's my theory anyway.
