Finnegan Posted 22 June 2007 Author Posted 22 June 2007 PGR and Forza have always been slightly different games, really. And both are popular with the XB faithful. PGR is still a great arcade style racer with some flashy cars, but Forza's in a league of it's own. Most comparable to GT, I suppose, but leagues better again; if I had to buy any one racing game it'd be Forza, yes.
Mark Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 I downloaded the demo last week, wasn't impressed with it. Graphics didn't look upto PGR standards, and my car was all over the place despite trying to stay in line with the guideline? More of a PGR3 person me.

Anyone else got it? hay finnegan just asking if youve experienced problems with your 360, im thinking of getting one but ive heard that a lot of them end up overheating and getting the 'red ring of death' problem ??
Deathside Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 I picked up Forza2 yesterday (Decent price online from PC World) - I've been enjoying it but Mrs Deathside is fed up with it Might sneak it on again in a minute as she's buggered off to the computer room (Lately I've been really into Dead Rising)

If you complete the Arcade Exhibition race series you eventually get to race Nurburgring (The final exhibition race) - This is a great comparison between Forza & PGR3 Having raced it many times in PGR3 I already knew the track - And still managed to go off at the same old places! Overall I find it hard to say which is the better game - But they are definately different styles
Finnegan Posted 24 June 2007 Author Posted 24 June 2007 I'm still on career mode and will be until I get my TVR, at LEAST. Haha. I'd like to get on live with it though really, as career is getting a bit repetitive. The only flaw I've found with career mode so far is that it's very easy (though admittedly you dont HAVE to) to make sure you're in a car leagues better than everyone else all the time. Granted a little self control overcomes this, but still.
