Daggers Posted 27 June 2007 Author Posted 27 June 2007 But was poo this morning. I'm only up to half-time at the mo' - and he's been well marginalised....did create the first goal from nothing though, a sublime pass. There again, he plays for one of the worst international teams in the world. La Vino Tinto were able to support him when some of the more experienced players still had access to a shirt, not anymore though.
Daggers Posted 27 June 2007 Author Posted 27 June 2007 You used to live in Columbia? Two years in Colombia, three in Venezuela and my son has a Colombian passport as he was born there.

Daggers Posted 27 June 2007 Author Posted 27 June 2007 Should be usefull if he ever decideds to take up drug dealing. Well, you know, we have our hopes for him but they say you should never force your children to live out your own failed dreams.
Finnegan Posted 27 June 2007 Posted 27 June 2007 Should be usefull if he ever decideds to take up drug dealing. If?
Gené and Tonic Posted 27 June 2007 Posted 27 June 2007 What made you come back then? The massive lure of Leicester City too much to bare?
Finnegan Posted 27 June 2007 Posted 27 June 2007 What made you come back then? The massive lure of Leicester City too much to bare? He wanted to live closer to Wales.
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 June 2007 Posted 27 June 2007 He wanted to live closer to Wales. I've only ever herd of one bloke wanting to move house in order to get closer to Wales, and even then he moved further away.
Finnegan Posted 27 June 2007 Posted 27 June 2007 That guy from that tv show you like about the bloke with the thing that does that, yknow. He's from Wales.
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 June 2007 Posted 27 June 2007 That guy from that tv show you like about the bloke with the thing that does that, yknow. He's from Wales. No he aint, he's from Brighton.
Daggers Posted 27 June 2007 Author Posted 27 June 2007 What made you come back then? The massive lure of Leicester City too much to bare? I lobbed the reply in Gen Chat
Finnegan Posted 27 June 2007 Posted 27 June 2007 No he aint, he's from Brighton. So? Vinny Jones is from Watford and Freddie Eastwood's a gypo from Basey'don. Everyone's from Wales, even Jack Daniels (true story.)
Daggers Posted 27 June 2007 Author Posted 27 June 2007 Everyone's from Wales, even Jack Daniels (true story.) My Grandad had toy shops in Cardiff, Swansea and somewhere else with a funny name.
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 June 2007 Posted 27 June 2007 So? Vinny Jones is from Watford and Freddie Eastwood's a gypo from Basey'don. Everyone's from Wales, even Jack Daniels (true story.) Don't forget Ben Thatcher. He's from Swindon.
Finnegan Posted 27 June 2007 Posted 27 June 2007 Don't forget Ben Thatcher. He's from Swindon. That's nothing, Michael Owen's from Flintshire, North Wales.
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 June 2007 Posted 27 June 2007 That's nothing, Michael Owen's from Flintshire, North Wales. The Micheal Owen that plays for Rugby for Wales. That really does suprise me, I thought he was Italian.
Lord Nibblington Posted 27 June 2007 Posted 27 June 2007 The Welsh are odd. I like how the first thing I'm reading about in a thread on the Copa America is the Welsh. Obviously, I skipped the firest couple of pages.
city1993 Posted 27 June 2007 Posted 27 June 2007 Yes but only Brazil and Argentina are worth watching. But as I'm a sad man, I will watch it anyway.
Daggers Posted 27 June 2007 Author Posted 27 June 2007 The most Southern part of Argentina, towards Tierra Del Fuego, contains a bunch of the Welsh.
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 ****SPOILER WARNING DAGGERS**** Did you anyone see Nery Castillo goal last night, quality. Mexico beat Brazil 2-0, not quite Brazils strongest team but by the looks of it Mexico were missing a couple of big players as well. The other game was pretty good as well, Ecuador 2 Chilie 3, a Chiliean striker named Humberto Suazo scored a bracelooks, he looks very tasty.
Joe. Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Two fantastic goals from Mexico last night, in particular Castillo's- pure genius. Nice game betwen Ecuador and Chile too, good last minute free kick winner from Chile.
Daggers Posted 28 June 2007 Author Posted 28 June 2007 Wow! Superb...and so much better for remembering not to read this thread first. What a sodding miss by Castillo - quality
Tommeh Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 2 Great games last night and seeing as I was ill and couldn't sleep the timing was perfect. Suazo seems some player I am officially rooting for Chile
