Joe. Posted 15 July 2007 Posted 15 July 2007 Yeah I'll be rooting for Brazil too but it wouldn't surprise me if the Argies won it.
Daggers Posted 15 July 2007 Author Posted 15 July 2007 not over yet fella Yea - because Argentina look like world beaters at the moment, eh?!
lildave3 Posted 15 July 2007 Posted 15 July 2007 3-0 Makes me laugh tbh, alot of people expexted Argentina to win this, some of them thought easily!

Manwell Pablo Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Makes me laugh tbh, alot of people expexted Argentina to win this, some of them thought easily! Thats because people are stupid.
Master Fox Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Well I’m glad the dirty stinking Argies lost. I only got to see the first 20 odd mins. The beast’s goal was a corker, what were the other two goals like?
purpleronnie Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Did anyone else have brazil at 3/1 to beat Argentina, in my opinion bet of the year. I had 100 on it.
Manwell Pablo Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Did anyone else have brazil at 3/1 to beat Argentina, in my opinion bet of the year.I had 100 on it. FS! Turns out the book makers are stupid as well.
David Villa Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Personally i cannot see why Chelsea want to spend £20 million on Alves. He didnt play that well.
Sods Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Sorry daggers i just had a feeling the argies would get back in the game. Also didnt want to jinx bras-il. Well done them
Simi Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Argentina will take it I think. Quality all throughout the team now. With Brazil resting Ronaldinho and Kaka, I don't see a way they can win this. Thats because people are stupid. I love owning myself.
Nick Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 It sure is now. 3-0 Full Time Score. An absolute masterclass by Brazil in defending from midfield like a full court press on a basketball court and looking consistantly ruthless on the break, yet using only 3 players at pace with minimum risk to be countered. Breaking down and closing down a team of that calibre -especially considering their passing game was a bloody joy to watch. An exemplary display of ruthless patience. N.
Daggers Posted 16 July 2007 Author Posted 16 July 2007 An exemplary display of ruthless patience I like the sound of this ruthless patience. I should like to attend a course teaching me all about it - how much do they cost and are they in English?
