Calum Davidson could and should have been offered a new contract. We could have made more effort with both McKinlay and Sinclair if we'd have wanted to. Sinclair's not going to be on much more at Burnley. Thats four we could have kept if wanted to. If Everton hadn't made a bid for Bent he almost certainly would have signed a contract with us. The same goes for Ferdinand with Bolton.

Teeno Posted 16 February 2005 Posted 16 February 2005 Although I think Muzzy was our best player, and has been out best player in the past decade. I think we miss someone like Dickov, as we set up no end of chances like saturday but no one is there to finish them.
Ric Flair Posted 16 February 2005 Posted 16 February 2005 Paul Dickov. Epitimised what we were all about, I guarantee we'd be alot higher up the league if we still had him. Club captain and a lethal finisher at times, plus his constant chasing of the ball unsettled teams. We've struggled to break teams down this season and Dickov could do that on his own.
