Hope it's a decent game, better then the FA cup final anyway, i was looking forward to seeing some of utd's new signings

but i don't think any are going to feature.

Can't see the game being upto much. Chelsea will set out their stall to defend against Uniteds strong attack.

I'm hoping for a good, open game, but I'm not expecting much.

End of the first half now. 1-1.

Pretty decent game considering the circumstances of the match and how close it is to the new season.

Quite clear to see the rivalry between Rooney and Ben Haim quite a lot of pushing going on between them two!

Chelsea haven't really looked dangerous at all in the first half, good goal though from Malouda.

Looking forward to having a look at Nani in the second half and at some point Pizzarro.

Not a bad game. Chelsea at times are so dull though

Great to see SWP playing and playing really well my mom and chelsea's main danger.

Ronaldo and Lampard have been extremely poor in my opinion and Ben Haim is way out of his depth

Two very good goals scored. Beginning to look like Peno's now.

United take it 3-0 on penalties !

Nobody really looked to fussed stepping up to take the penalties, both teams seemed happy with 1-1 at the final whistle!

First blood to United in the title race

I'm glad Man U won :) Van De Sar (spelling?) is a class peno saver lol

I wouldn't go that far, I thought all the penalties were average, all at a good height for the goalkeeper and none of them were close to the corner.

Fergie says Tevez to play Wednesday.

I'm surprised that with all the flaps at the ball and his awful first half there weren't 35,000 demanding he be replaced.

Or does vilifying a keeper after a poor 45 minutes in a friendly only happen at City?

Fairly liberal use of the word vilify but the shortcomings Nielsen displayed that day didn't look like one-off errors of judgement from a man in unfamiliar surroundings.

But I hope they were.
