barmy76uk Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 From this thread:From the Fryatt thread: Just put that in your sig mate, you'll save yourself abit of time! miller struggles to score in the spl! Anthony stokes scored for fun in the spl and has scored 1 or 2 in about 30 since playing down south!
Jimmy Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 miller struggles to score in the spl!Anthony stokes scored for fun in the spl and has scored 1 or 2 in about 30 since playing down south! no he doesn't struggle to score in the sopl he doesnt get in the team every week, plus he is a PROVEN goalscorer in this league and the premier league
Jimmy Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 he scored loads when wolves were in the premier league
barmy76uk Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 he scored loads when wolves were in the premier league miller scored 2 goals in the prem 1 against man utd! really prolific 2 goals, even akinbadbuy scored more than that!
Jimmy Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 the point about this league still stands, must of gotten muddled up with their goal scorers that season
Jimmy Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 He scored 52 goals in 167 for Wolves. which works out and not too far off 1 in 3 ... hardly the record of a "garbage" striker
Brainy Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 Well I didn't say that, but I don't want him here (change of heart).
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 I think that Miller has a decent scoring record, you have to bear in mind that he also bagged a few in the Champions League last year as well, and has only been sparingly used by Strachan. If he's not given a proper run in the team then it's hardly going to boost his confidence, is it? Anyone that doubts the man's finishing ability need look no further than Celtics game against Aberdeen last weekend in which Kennedy scored a class goal with an excellent finish. I would've prefered Riordan, but if Kenny came I'd be fairly pleased.
lildave3 Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 I don't really want to bring him in, I don't think he offers anything different to what we have already.
Geo V Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 There is a KM thread here so maybe merge Mods?? http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.ph...40&start=40 I think has has ability and always look a handful in International matches so I think in the right team, he`ll do a good job. Like others have said, I`d be shocked if he doesn't end up in the Premier, especially with some sides like Derby and Sunderland being short of fire power.
BigGibbo Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 i'd rather have riordan & bobo balde would be a great signing for us just thought i'd throw that in the mixer
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Kenny Miller's performance v Falkirk a couple of weeks ago was outstanding. Thing is the last time I remember a great performance from him before that was the Cup game v ICT in February - he is quite inconsistent. He's in form at the moment but that doesn't mean he will be next week. Sure he may be better suited to Championship football (he does seem to play better when there is good along the ground play as has happened in recent weeks, as opposed to the usual Scottish hoofball), but why risk it when we already have some good early displays from our strikers, and while strength is still needed in other places?
JoeyB Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 Having talks with Derby, agreed a fee! just been on ssn now!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 Another quick striker who can't shoot. They are going down bigtime.
sdb Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 Another quick striker who can't shoot. They are going down bigtime. exactly what i thought. At least Hammond wont have to move far.

El_Thief Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 mller has signed for derby for £3million just on ssn
Father Ted Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 HAHA Derby have been conned AGAIN! He will probably only score 5 goals.
