Ric Flair Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 Whenever I've seen him he's been absolutely woeful, so if I was judging him from what I've seen I wouldn't want him.Saying that though, I'm sure he bagged a fair few goals for Preston a couple of seasons ago. ??
Joe. Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 ?? That's actually stumped me now. I can't remember who he was playing for at the time.
Jay Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 That's actually stumped me now. I can't remember who he was playing for at the time. Gillingham and it was 9 goals in a season
Joe. Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 Gillingham and it was 9 goals in a season Hmmm yeah that rings a bell now. Jus ignore me next time I say anything about Darius Henderson, it seems I got everything wrong about him
LE8Blue Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 just saw on ssn that watford have rejected 1.5 million bid from fulham for henderson
Pete_foxes Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 If I was Watford I'd accept the 1.5 for Henderson in a flash. I honestly can't believe there is a club willing to pay that for him.
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 Is he playing tomorrow?? Not according to this - but Carl Cort is fit!!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 Serious lack of respect and ill-informed rubbish being posted in here. Until Fryatt or even Hume score 20 goals in a Championship season we have no right to turn our noses up at the likes of Henderson. Boothroyd is a quality manager and there is a reason he wants to keep him. He might not be spectacular or pacy but he is a handful and he scored 20 goals in a Championship season just two years ago.

I knew there was some substance to my earlier post....

I agree. Everyone's argument for not having him is only 2 prem goals last year...well realistically how many goals would Hume get in the prem?

If we're only interested in players who got into double figures in the Premiership last season then we'll have a long wait for a new striker.

It pains me to say it Fez, but no he didn't.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 It pains me to say it Fez, but no he didn't. Ha, you are so right. Maybe it was 20 in all competitions. Or maybe not. Shocking error.
Ric Flair Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 Ha, you are so right. Maybe it was 20 in all competitions. Or maybe not. Shocking error. 15 in the league, zero in any of the cups. Not a bad return though. Still wouldn't go near him for £1.5-2 million though. Campbell was a gamble at that price, we shouldn't risk it again. Riordan for £700,000 offers more value for money, even if he's perhaps not as strong in the air. At least he can drop in to left wing if needed.
Stuliasz Posted 3 September 2007 Posted 3 September 2007 Has signed a new contract until 2011. BBC Sport
Geo V Posted 3 September 2007 Posted 3 September 2007 Useless forward who has dyed his hair and now he can score goals
