Nath Posted 26 August 2007 Posted 26 August 2007 Whats the hype with seeing lennon again? Yes he was a legend, but he plays for forest now. A gentle clap at the start but thats it. Concentrate on OUR players

Leonisco Posted 26 August 2007 Posted 26 August 2007 Eactly, same reception Jordan Stewart got yesterday - polite clap, claps back, continue with game. Barber kept saying he was getting stick from our fans.
Micky Ruddle Posted 26 August 2007 Posted 26 August 2007 Barber kept saying he was getting stick from our fans. I'm sure he meant Marlon King. It's just that Barber is blind
Nath Posted 26 August 2007 Posted 26 August 2007 Nice to see Forest fans threating. On their forum, they are mentioning how they have only nearly sold 4,000! Being out numbered at home in a local derby isn't quite good for them now, isit?!
Kilworthfox Posted 26 August 2007 Posted 26 August 2007 Police Warn City Fans Posted on: Sun 26 Aug 2007 Leicester City fans are being asked not to travel to the Carling Cup tie at Nottingham Forest on Tuesday unless they already have tickets. All tickets available to Leicester supporters have now been sold out and as a result it is now impossible for those fans to obtain a ticket for the match. Forest also have measures in place to stop City fans from buying tickets in the home stands. Added to that if police spot any Leicester fans in Forest areas they will be ejected from the ground and there will be no transfers to other parts of the ground. Chief Inspector Mark Holland of Nottinghamshire Police said: "Any Leicester City fans who have not got a ticket should simply not travel to the match. "There will be a heavy police presence to allow those ticketed fans to travel to a from the ground in a safe and pleasant environment and to enjoy the match "Police officers will take an inference that if a fan travels without a ticket they will be here to cause trouble." The match between Nottingham Forest and Leicester City at the City Ground kicks off at 7.45pm on Tuesday. All pubs and bars within in the Nottingham area are working with the police to monitor group behaviour. Link

Nath Posted 26 August 2007 Posted 26 August 2007 Not like they are going to sell out.... We could/should of been given more tickets, considering they have only sold in the region of 4,000!

Kilworthfox Posted 26 August 2007 Posted 26 August 2007 Not like they are going to sell out....We could/should of been given more tickets, considering they have only sold in the region of 4,000! What!? Source?

Rossatron Posted 26 August 2007 Posted 26 August 2007 why do forest fans not seem as excited about this game as us? and why do they not consider us as rivals? if you are wondeirng where this info came on i went onto a forest forum and they was not impressed!

It's their excuse for a pathetic follow up. And when they lose it will also be there excuse.
willy37 Posted 26 August 2007 Posted 26 August 2007 i really cant understand their lack of enthusiasm for this game. Plus with them being underdogs you would think their fans should be up for it. oh well.... BLUE ARMY P.s is anyone taking blue and white balloons or anything. will look amazing!
Mort Posted 26 August 2007 Posted 26 August 2007 Have Forrest fans just given up... beat by Derby in the summer, poor start to the season, three years in League One and what ever they try (and IIRC they spent a fair bit in the summer) they just don't seem to be able to get out of the living nightmare that their club's been in for the last few years and have been getting by on remembering past glories (nearly thirty years past!)... maybe it's just finally gotten to much.
Ultra Posted 26 August 2007 Posted 26 August 2007 Some absolute gems on this Forest website.. I can't see Forest fans clamouring for tickets or contributing much to the atmosphere because there's simply nothing to get excited about. What can we sing, "We're sh!t and we know we are," or "We've got the worst fcuking team we've ever seen?" I'm not bothering with this game, for one thing I think all cup competitions are a waste of time if your a club like Forest and plus we will lose this game comfortably. Will this be the first game ever where the away fans outnumber the Forest fans at the City Ground?? With fans like that, who needs us?
Glen_lcfc Posted 26 August 2007 Posted 26 August 2007 Possible trouble ahead come Tuesday Lunchtime ... http://www.forestforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=20181.30 Re: Carling Cup Rnd 2: Official Forest Vs Leicester Match Thread. « Reply #44 on: Fri 24 Aug, 2007. 00:02 » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joy of joys... We got an email circulated internally where I work, from the local Rozzers. They suggest that 'a large number' of Leicester fans will be arriving 'after lunch' on Tuesday, and 'there may be trouble' at that time, and after the game. They recommend using door staff and other security. Charming. b****y charming. I wish those b****y inbreds would learn how to behave in polite society. (ok, so someone's going to add "or Nottingham" onto the end of that, but you get the point.)

My dad even told me not to go in case i got hurt. Bless him. We shall just have to be on our best behaviours and wear a blue shirt ffs!
