blue blood Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 they dont sound very hopeful tho. It seems to be that forest hate derby and derby hate forest. the only real link between us is distance.I think we would have been better served if there was some sort of a more local team that we had more history with as a genuine liverpool V everton, manu V man city type fixture. if we carry on from where we left off then the game SHOULD be over in the 1st half.
Geo V Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 just been on the "nott's woods" forum. they are a depressed bunch of fans i tell ya! id hate to feel like them, i dont blame them really they must have forgotten that optemistic feeling..there is a real possibility we will out number them at their own back yard The thing is, a big chunk of their current fans who turn up at match-days, I`d guess at about 80% at least, weren't around when they were winning the odd trophy so this new lot will only know the doom and gloom years. They must be a confused bunch. Dad telling son of Brian Clough and how good they were and the new breed sitting down in Div 3 watching week after week of shite!! I feel sorry for them
Ultra Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 We not playing a Cup final now are we? This is actually bigger. Some of us have actually seen us win cup finals. We have a glorious chance to bury the City Ground jinx. Let's go for it!
Geo V Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 This is actually bigger. Some of us have actually seen us win cup finals. We have a glorious chance to bury the City Ground jinx. Let's go for it! This game is bigger than a Cup Final? I`ll be tuning into the radio tonight to listen in. MA may tinker with the side so the line-up will be intersting but I hope that Kaebi, Chambers and Fryatt all get starts for this one.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Excuse my ignorance when was the last time a) we played forrest b) beat them c) both at the city ground. thanks in advance Don't think i will get a chance to listen to it don't get home tonight til 11 30pm and game starts at 5am got to leave for work at 7am might be to knackered
Steven Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 I understand that some tickets have been returned to the ticket office. You might be able to get a ticket if you move quickly.
Lillehamring Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 just read this nonsense "City have managed to gazump Forest recently in the transfer market by nicking the likes of Cort, Fryatt and Clemence from under our noses, but we won't hold that against them if we get through tomorrow night." i mean, seriously, clemence to forest and: "There has of course been some notable players to step out for both City and Forest over the years. Collymore, Parker, Campbell, Mills and Williams have all played for both sides. There have been some not so notable ones as well such as Rogers, Impey and Charles. " i'd take Impey over Williams anyday....

Micky Ruddle Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 If i find my Viking Helmet - I am sure to be wearing that tonight. Even though it means nothing to anyone, because Johansson has gone.

Manwell Pablo Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Nottm Forest v Leicester Nottingham Forest striker Nathan Tyson could make a shock return after appearing as a late substitute in Saturday's defeat by Leeds. But Chris Cohen (groin), Matt Lockwood (ankle), Ian Breckin (calf), Lewis McGugan (ankle) and Arron Davies (ankle) are all still ruled out. Leicester have no fresh injury worries but could still rest some players. Darren Kenton (rib) is still struggling, while Jonathan Hayes (thigh) is not ready to return yet. Looks like Tyson could be back. Nice to See Cohen and Davies still aren't fit, and Matt Lockwood. Big loss. As we know nothing fresh for us to worry about.
Thracian Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Looks like Tyson could be back. Nice to See Cohen and Davies still aren't fit, and Matt Lockwood. Big loss.As we know nothing fresh for us to worry about. I still wonder if Felix Bastians might get a game. Tall and awkward to deal with that lad.
Master Fox Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 I still wonder if Felix Bastians might get a game. Tall and awkward to deal with that lad. I still have no idea who this is...?
Gené and Tonic Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Left winger for Forest isn't he? Quite young
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 I still have no idea who this is...? German youth team player, he's made a handfull of apperances for Forest. Two this season, one at the weekend against Leeds and one against Chester in the last round. So it looks like Bastians will probabley get on at some some point, espeically with Cohen still out.

I think the side may be pretty much the same as saturday, i cant see Bastians starting the game, the only way that could happen is if commons goes up front, which is unlikely. I still doubt if Tyson will start because Holt and Agogo looked very strong on saturday even though they didnt score.
Lillehamring Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Anyone not going tonight??Who's up for Live chat!!? you'll be pleased to know that you will be able to enjoy my name generated in red for another two hours tonight...
