TAFKA Castroneves Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Yep he had a stroke on the team bus. That must have been really scary for the Luton boys.
Leicester Lass Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Looks like it'll be his football career over. But hey, rather that than his life.
Pete_foxes Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Looks like he'l be ok though. Credit to the medical team for getting there so quickly I think Clive owes them one.

Yeah they deserve a massive and for reviving Clarkey. It just makes you wonder thought what a tight rope amateur footballers walk on having very little medical help when they kick around in amateur leagues at the weekend. I think all refs should be first aiders as standard and maybe the managers too.

Dames Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Sad that he probably won't be able to play again. But i'd rather be happy with the fact that he's alive and well.
egg_fried_rice Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I hope Clive makes a swift and safe recovery from what must have been a terrible, traumatic ordeal. Unquantifiably more important than who is managing our football club.
Flynny Posted 30 August 2007 Posted 30 August 2007 So according to the Mirror, it was Allen himself who attempted mouth-to-mouth, which didn't work. Then the defibrillator.
