Ultra Posted 10 September 2007 Posted 10 September 2007 It's always enthralling to see a City team do so well. Especially when it's full of players (Philpott, Reid, Paris, even Oldfield) who during their "proper" careers did not exactly distinguish themselves in a blue shirt. What price the likes of Josh Low, Elvis Hammond and Rab Douglas featuring for us in a Masters tournament in around 2018?
Phlashman Posted 10 September 2007 Posted 10 September 2007 I must say our goalkeeping coach should of given us an easier time. Someone should of reminded him who pays his wages!
Vacamion Posted 10 September 2007 Posted 10 September 2007 Best U18 team in England and the best masters team in Britain. Shame our actual team is a bag of bollocks to be honest!! All part of Milan's grand plan. Appeal to the grey pound and the "yoof" market and let the stuff in the middle take care of itself...
Geo V Posted 10 September 2007 Posted 10 September 2007 Yesterday was fun at a BBQ. Running inside to watch some old buggers run around and cheer when we scored! Also seeing the kids who were in the living room watching TV moan as I demanded on watching the City games was hilarious, especially when one or two of the mums came in to have a go at me! Anyway, the lads did us proud. Oldfield showed his quality and the likes of Philpott, Groves and Tommy Wright all looked good. We deserved to win as we played bright free flowing football and because we did so well, I have had a knee-jerk reaction and have decided that whoever was the manager for us in this comp should instantly be made our new manager. BTW spare a thought for Ally Mauchlen who obviously so wanted to be playing for us instead of Motherwell . "Ally, Ally, Ally!!". A first class nutcase.

Matt Posted 10 September 2007 Author Posted 10 September 2007 Haha, was winding the Wolves fan up who I work with, and all my thoughts about him and Wolves fans were confirmed, He is so far up his own arse when it comes to Wolves, I mean fair enough I bias when it comes to my team but i'll admit if we have been beat or something has happened, e.t.c, but Wolves fans are so up there own arse's it's unbelieveable they've got "the best players", "the best stadium", "the best support", "the best manager"...Well according to him they have, even when it comes to the Master's competition which yes i'm happy about winning but was only jokingly gloating about he still took it serious saying "Ah we always win that competition" (Well i'm almost certain on Sky last night they said the furthest Wolves have got is the quarter's before). Anyway, we won, Wolves are poo.
