Managerial Merry-Go-Round

Predict which managers are on their way out, and which managers will join which clubs.

Preston - Simpson Out - Brian Laws in

Sheffield Wednesday - Laws out - Peter Reid

Gillingham - / - Martin Allen in

Plus any other club without a manager.

Allen will wait for a championship club or forest.

Mandaric took a risk with Allen.

Im not judging him on his time here but perhaps Allen isn't 'Championship Standard'

... yet.

No, i think he is. Allen was sacked because of JFH and not nodding along with everything Milan wanted. I can see Allen getting a job in the championship easy. Just look at people who are managers in the championship now. Allen better then half i reckon.

I don't want to go round and disagree with you on everything but how do you work that out when Allen only had 4 games in the Championship?

well i guess you could argue that he 'masterminded' a 4-1 win againt a watford side that are now back top of the division. infact, that was their only defeat in 6 games... they have won the other 5..

im not saying that makes him a world beater but i think he was holding his own in the champ..

He'll have a long damn wait considering that no one is going to touch him unless they are absolutely desperate.

Nope.

I think you'll find there was an awful lot more to it than that.

Allen will go Qpr next week.

Yeah i wouldn't be shocked to see that. Why i rated allen because of the job he did at brentford. He could hold his own in the championship easy.

dont think it will be long before allen is back in a job , hope he gets a decent job without the circus he had here

Circus?

Allen was the biggest clown in the ring.

You still haven't came up with a valid reason as to why Allen could 'hold his own in the Championship easy'.

If we dont start picking up some points soon then i can see McCarthy going and Jewell coming in.

If he turned us down do you seriously think he would go to you?

Martin Allen is watching QPR play Watford today, along with Vialli.

It depends really if a prem club doesnt come in for him before xmas then i can see him take up a job at a top championship club. Maybe the Leicester job came up to early for him or he didnt fancy working with Manderic after whats gone on with Martin Allan.

you could also argue that mandaric had already decided to fire him by this point, can't imagine him and/or the players wouldn't have been given some kind of a hint or a heads up...
