Kent Fox Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 Our Leader, Who art in a world of his own, Mandaric be thy name. Thy Megson come, Promotion will be done, This year if not the next. Give us this day, Kaebi on the left, And Ferreira on the right, And we will forgive team selections before this, And lead us not into relegation, But deliver us a trophy, For thine is the City, the team and supporters, For ever and ever, Amen.
Unit Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 Whoever wrote the lords prayer is LAZY. Half of it doesn't even rhyme! pfffft.

A PRAYER FOR HEALING Lord(and Milan), You invite all who are burdened to come to you. Allow Your healing Hand to heal me. Touch my soul with Your compassion for others; touch my heart with Your courage and infinite Love for all; touch my mind with Your Wisdom, and may my mouth always proclaim Your praise. Teach me to reach out to You in all my needs, and help me to lead others to You by my example. Most loving Heart of Jesus(and Milan), bring me health in body and spirit that I may serve You with all my strength. Touch gently this life which you have created, now and forever. Amen.
Finnegan Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 Our father, who art in Calgary, Bobsled be thy name, Thy kingdom come, Gold medal's won, On Earth, as it is in turn seven. With Liberty and Justice for Jamaica and Haile Selassie. Amen.
Kent Fox Posted 26 September 2007 Author Posted 26 September 2007 It is comforting to hear all these prayers at our time of need. Please kneel... Dear Lord, although it is against the 10 Commandments and everything that is holy, I ask you to grant us the one wish that the entire Aston Villa squad suffer defeat at the hands of the Mighty Foxes this evening. Lord, we ask you this not in greed, but to give us the faith we need to continue in spreading the Gospel according to St. Milan. We are indeed suffering, Lord and ask you for this one gift. You gave us your Son, Lord and we are eternally grateful, but we seriously need some ****ing help here tonight. For what we are about to receive (on the radio), may you make us truly thankful and not too pissed off at the final score. Amen.
Monk Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 Looks like your prayers got answered my friend. Good work god.
Milky Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 Looks like your prayers got answered my friend. Good work god. Which one?
Kent Fox Posted 27 September 2007 Author Posted 27 September 2007 Which one? The one that loves Football. Obviously. Pray with Kenty will resume on Saturday. Amen.
Kent Fox Posted 28 September 2007 Author Posted 28 September 2007 Leicester City Vs Stoke City. Prayer time. Lord, We thank you for your divine intervention at Villa Park. We shall be eternally grateful for your guidance of our son, Matthew, and his guidance of the ball into the bottom right corner. But now, Lord, we move on. We welcome the Potters - no, not Harry, the football team - to the hallowed ground that is the Walkers. And once again, dear lord, we ask that you take pity on our situation with Saint Weso out for a while. The Potters bring with them the Prophets of Doom in Fuller, Parkin and Cresswell. I ask that you take care of them, Lord, in any manner you see fit. We, your followers, will show you no malice should you wish to seriously injure them during their final training session. And if you want to sort out that Lawrence fella, that would be good. And Lord, please grant us not the boring draw we are expecting. Help our forwards create as you created the World. Help our back three - or four - stop the plague of wingers, strikers and central midfielders as in the past, you stopped the Frogs and the Locusts. That was you, wasn't it oh Lord? We thank you for a good week. And we pray for a better weekend. Amen.
Dames Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 I fear that not even god himself can stop Ricardo Fuller from scoring against us.
Kent Fox Posted 28 September 2007 Author Posted 28 September 2007 I fear that not even god himself can stop Ricardo Fuller from scoring against us. Keep the Faith, Brother Dames. He helped us at Villa - Fuller will be a push-over. Literally. God will just give him a shove.
Dames Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 Keep the Faith, Brother Dames. He helped us at Villa - Fuller will be a push-over. Literally. God will just give him a shove. I see. Infact gods forces are at work already! He got Manwell to tell Stearz to take out Fuller. Lets hope young Richard does not fail in his task.
