Considering the quality of the game,i thought the Kop made a good effort to generate some atmosphere.

At one point i thought L1 were going to join in.

Thank god they didn't as i was enjoying the peace and quiet.

Well to get a draw against one of the teams that many thought would run away with the league this year isn't that bad to be honest... that on top of the fact that Weso and Clem were out... I think there is a positive spin on this!

Although that said, we are getting into a bad habit of drawing which we need to stop.

Was a boring game between two fairly equal sides we could never expect more than a draw against Wolves & overall 8 points in 8 games is dire but i have faith that the only way is up for Leicester

Gary Megson will never have my attitude and approach to trying to win football matches so it is pointless to judge him from that standpoint.

His sole focus is on bland and boring professionalism.

He seems to have no appreciation of the fact that part of his job is to fill the stadium seats and that the game of football is supposed to stir the blood and be full of incident, opportunity and excitement.

From his point of view he has clearly got the team organised and disciplined. People know exactly what they are supposed to be doing and seem to be fully focused on doing it.

But there is no flair, no invention, no pace, nothing off the cuff it is all predictable to the fans and, of course, predictable to the opposition.

Even when he uses an attack capable midfield player he uses him as another systemised, mostly defensive clone, for the most part

Admittedly it must be awful in our midfield where our posse of centre-backs invariably clear the ball to anywhere and so often by-pass midfield completely.

We've now drawn five of our eight League games, scored just twice in the last five of those matches, our entertainment value has been virtually nil, our total of chances created hardly worth considering and it all points to one thing.

Players are more concerned about not making mistakes than about making things happen. They are full of fear.

You've only got to look at Sheehan's fate to see the penalty for upsetting the boss. Yet what have we gained and lost for his absence.

What we've got is the faster but virtually inconsequential Chambers in midfield. And the "water-carrier" Kishishev. What, between them have they really made happen? Not a lot.

And in losing Sheehan's faults we've also lost a little air of expectation because he did pose a threat from free-kicks and corners, he did have a pop from outside the areas, he did thread a tasty pass or two.

Replace him by all means but with a faster, less vulnerable player with all the sorts of strengths he's got - if you can find one that nobody wants.

Cos now there is only Fryatt to offer any flair or expectation in our team. He just as slow and drops as many bricks as Sheehan but now that he's close to his best you do think we might have a chance when he's got the ball.

But one man - and a fairly modest one at that, is not enough.

As I've said above we need pace, we need numbers, we need variety, we need cleverness in our armoury when we attack.

We need a proper free kick taker - our efforts tonight were laughable - we need near post runs, a far post threat, we need to pick up loose balls on the edge and inside the box, we need people who will gamble instead of hesitating like Mattock at the death.

All normal things for any competent football team.

But ours, sadly, remains simply workmanlike.

Organised, honest and limited.

And week by week we drop further behind our goals.

Milan has gone for a solid hard-working manager and to be honest, it so far is spoiling the good things that MA had done at the club. Today was another terrible spectacle and to play 532/352 at home is a travesty for me and sends out a message to our opponents that we fear them and at home, we shouldn't be doing that.

The weird thing is that before the season started I fancied Wolves to win the league so a point would have been a good result but after our weak start to the season, I had hoped for 3 points tonight.

On the plus side if we somehow manage to win our game in hand we go up to 12th and just 3 points off the play-offs which isn't bad considering 3 starters from the victory against Watford were missing tonight.

Apart from that and the FIVE hour drive from kidderminster to Leicester via wolves to pick up the tickets that should have been sent to my house and the closed M6 which caused us to get lost and then get stuck in a traffic jam for hours aswel as the poor game the day was ok i guess.

In two words how would you decribe our strike pairing of Keogh and Elliot on tonights game alone? McCarthy labelled them as different class( i thought they tried hard but offered nothing). and slated Eastwood and Bothroyd for not doing enough. Personally i think he has lost the plot so he is all yours take him please.

Milan has gone for a solid hard-working manager and to be honest, it so far is spoiling the good things that MA had done at the club. Today was another terrible spectacle and to play 532/352 at home is a travesty for me and sends out a message to our opponents that we fear them and at home, we shouldn't be doing that.
