I wasn't expecting any Leicester players in there cos none of them deserve to be, but what is Beefcake Dean Windass doing in there?

And Michael Tonge deserves to be on that list too.

Didn't anyone see Ade in the Premiership or something ?

It is an utterly absurd list. The criteria used is a strange combination of individual and club form. How many of these players could compete or have competed in the Prem? How many would interest a Prem manager?

But there again, if we were sniffing around the play-off places I could think of half a dozen of our useless Eustaces getting on to a top twenty. Someone send the list above to CL and ask him to pin it up in the dressing room.

Might motivate the sods!

Interesting. Funny. Hilarious. Almost delicious. Did 442 really launch this article with "The 50 Best Players Outside The Premiership"? Why not calling it "The Championship Boys" or something...???

It is either a very wrong or a very ignorant title for such an article. Wrong because there are at least 3 other European leagues with the same level as the Prem (Italy, Spain and Germany). Ignorant because the article only refers to English football.

Of course, this article was never meant to stir controversy or any trouble.

If you were a football mag editor, what would you do? :P

46. John Ruddy?! Can someone tell me what this kid is about? I saw him playing for Cambridge against Oxford the other day and he was utter shite. He flaps at balls, can barely catch and cant kick to save his life. How Everton are interested in him I have no idea...

44. Jamal Campbell-Ryce

He's awesome, should be alot higher.

How do people work out that he is better than Ade?

do they know anything about the championship? Where's Gareth Williams, Joey, Walker. Tiatto. gillsepie.

If these players were the best in the division we would be a little higher than 18th in the league. <_<

Correction TT...

If these players were better motivated and had a size 10 in the backside once in a while they would be a little higher than 18th in the league...
