syston_fox Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 Is Cobbo coming to watch? If so can he do the kick off and then hobble off to be substituted straight away so that he's officially part of the team?
ASH17LCFC Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 If you're serious about it make sure you're there for 1ish Vicky park ? Ok mate i will need a whistle though and Manwell has stated i don't need to pay him anything. See ya tomoz Finns
syston_fox Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 Vicky park ? Ok mate i will need a whistle though and Manwell has stated i don't need to pay him anything. See ya tomoz Finns You should at least buy him a few drinks then!
Joe. Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 Let me know what time y'all are aiming for and you can help carry/drink it. I'm getting in at 11.38 from somewhere along Leicester Road.
ASH17LCFC Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 You should at least buy him a few drinks then! Yea Least i could do i guess ... But im running a fair game once we're on the pitch won't take no spit or anything.
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 January 2008 Author Posted 25 January 2008 There's a £20 charge to ref the game. Made payable to Manwell, as he's the organizer. Sorry Ash can't reply to your PM as this browser crashes whenever I try to reply to PMs as Hullfox will vouch for. But in short. What he said.
Finnegan Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 Vicky park ? Ok mate i will need a whistle though and Manwell has stated i don't need to pay him anything. See ya tomoz Finns Considering NOBODY seems to want a ref (you, or otherwise) I doubt we'll let you ref it, tbh. People just want to see if you'll show up. Which, tbh, I would anyway if I were you. It'll be a laugh meeting everyone whether you play, ref, or not.

Look mate being serious, i haven't got 20 quid on me atm. I'm abit skint but would buy you a couple pints after. I think i would bring something to the game.
Scow Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 Is Cobbo coming to watch? If so can he do the kick off and then hobble off to be substituted straight away so that he's officially part of the team? He is. He can run now. He could even be persuaded to play longer term, although he can't risk the ankle, like. Along with Sparky, he's probably our best player.

Ok mate i will show my face but do you think my Leeds shirt with Dennis Wise on might raise a few eyebrows

Plus whats happening with offsides etc. We need people to run the line otherwise it will jsut get silly.
syston_fox Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 I could take kick off and then become ref? Now that's what I call an idea....
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 January 2008 Author Posted 25 January 2008 I could take kick off and then become ref? Whatever you want to do mate. As long as your legs up to it. I'll sort this shit out tomorrow anyway, need two linesman they are top priority.

Finnegan Posted 26 January 2008 Posted 26 January 2008 I agree on linesmen ( <_< ), but I'm not sure a game of this nature needs a ref. Don't get me wrong, I've already voiced that I think it would be a giggle to have one. It might offer my ankles some fooking protection from you, on a greasy pitch, too. I'm just parroting what the majority seem to have said, really. Not bragging or owt but i got best linesman back in 2001 ...
Cobbo Posted 26 January 2008 Posted 26 January 2008 I will be reffing like Graham Poll be warned, I shall be the centre of attention.

syston_fox Posted 26 January 2008 Posted 26 January 2008 Your not helping your case by lying. You mean he had a case in the first place?
